This material is awful to deal with if you have ANY curves to the surface you are covering. I used it to give the faux wood look on my old station wagon. This wagon us as flat sided as it gets, and yet thus material is a constant nightmare even months after I installed it. Installation nightmare. This material is thick and inflexible. The working temperature cannot be below 70F because if you pull it just a little too much, it snaps. It doesn't rip, it literally breaks and snaps apart. It took me 7 attempts to get the passenger rear door to an acceptable condition. When you barely heat the vinyl and squeegee or use a glove, the material tends to roll and deform, giving bubbles and creases. Maintanance nightmare: The initial adhesion on concave surfaces is good, but after a day it lifts making bubbles. To get it to stick down, you have to heat the material so hot, it bubbles and gets shiny, which sticks out against the matte finish of the rest of the vinyl. I have worked with other vinyl materials, even from Vvivid, that were so much easier to deal with. Unfortunately, there is not much choice out there for wood grain vinyl. Overall I would not recommend this to anyone, unless it was your only choice. If you've worked with other vinyl materials and you decide to try this, be prepared to be disappointed in the installation and maintenance. ... show more

I don’t have a lot of experience with vinyl but this one seems to harden back really quick and I was working outside in 80 degree with had to have heat gun on it to work it but I like the results.

    • Used this product to change the color of the legs on some chairs. Worked GREAT! Looks GREAT!

The box arrived with damage to the side and half of the roll is unusable due to little creases and tears along the vinyl. The half that wasn't damaged looks pretty good. I'll have to order another roll to be able to complete my project now.
