This is an excellent vinyl wrapping film. The metallic amber color gives this vinyl a cool look. This vinyl is easy to work with and applies easily. The nano air release works very well and makes it easy to get air bubbles out.

Years ago I bought some Vvivid peel-and-stick products off of Amazon for crafting purposes, and they were fantastic - think the best quality contact paper you could buy. I noticed that this wasn't marketed the same way; it didn't mention kitchen countertop or cabinet applications, for example, but I wanted to give it a try. Based on the listing photo I was expecting a rich bronze or coffee color. What I got out of the box is something different - we can't decide if it's purple, blue, or black. I don't mind as I just got this to experiment with, but if you had that bronze color in mind, this would be a shocker and disappointment. While this is peel and stick, the adhesive doesn't seem very strong. A careful reading of the included instructions shows that for best results, a heat gun is in order. Well, ok.... I guess my crafting just got more industrial. This is marketed a a car wrap product so I get it, but I did revisit the sales page before starting this review and noticed that the information about needing to heat treat it is not readily apparent to a non-industry person so... crafters beware (and, in reading the reviews, I'm not the only one who looks for these product for non-automotive purposes). I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it's fine. However I wish Vvivid offered that old product that was so easy to use - just cut to size, peel off the backing, and the strong adhesive did it's thing.

The image appears to be a dark red, in reality it is a blue? purple? black with blue sparkles? black with violet sparkles? Whatever it is, it's not dark red, which is what I was going for.

I've used vvivid vinyl before and buying full rolls for car wrapping is pretty tough, but I use this to cover a couple of very flat surfaces and it was a breeze to work with. The glass is really nice and the vinyl lays down really easily and it's very easy to lift and reposition. It also seems to respond really well to Heethe when is being post heated and wrapping around the edges. I use it to wrap the edges of my MacBook Pro and the finish looks like it was factory glossy. I've wrapped a few car with Vvivid before and it's usually really thick and really sticky and difficult to work with but for smaller projects this stuff is fantastic
