Make no mistake, there is no dark gray, light gray or any color other than black on this pattern. Every section is black, just printed with different textures that catch and reflect light differently. It is a very interesting pattern, just not at all what I expected.

I didn’t install this vinyl. The pattern wasn’t what I was looking for. Ended up returning it. The camo pattern was too big. Definitely did not look like what the picture showed

I'm certainly a rookie at wrapping but have successfully wrapped interior pieces, so I figured I'd try wrapping the relatively flat hood on my old 4runner. Huge mistake. Hours of trying to get this to lay flat and no luck, heat gun created blemishes, and it wrinkled easily. If you hate yourself and want to be frustrated for what feels like eternity before conceding defeat and realizing you just threw away money, this is definitely for you. Overall the pattern is nice and the film adheres very well. Mine arrived with no protective cover on it so during the application I noticed that there were lines / defects in the vinyl. Also, during the application, even though I was very careful applying it and using gloves / foam covered applicator, the vinyl still scratched and has marks from soothing it out. One last thing, the air bubbles do not release very easily during application. Some small ones remain. ... show more

Not very user friendly to work with even around simple corners, creases easy and can't work it out. The print has lines in it and are very visible under LED lights! About the only thing I like about it is the pattern but its impossible to clean and scuffs very easy, attracts dirt and fingerprints easy, once you wipe it it never looks the same. I have used other VIVID products and never had an issue. I would buy something else. I will be tearing this stuff off and going a different route. Wish I could get my money and time back. Update: VViViD customer service took care of the issue, changing from 1 star to 3 for stepping up and admitting there was an issue with some of the batches of vinyl. ... show more

Holds well enough. Takes skill and patience but it looks good. Only issue is that the surface is easily scratched and shows marks. Product came with a few scratches but I kept it because it's my first home hood wrap.
