I love this color so much. Absolutely adore it. I will say this though, it’s definitely thinner than material such as 3m and Avery, but it does adhere well. One downside I would say is that it doesn’t adhere as well as the above brands. It will stick but it harder corners or edges, you may notice it will lift unless heated up more. I love Vivvid vinyl. This color is satin with a bit of metallic in it. It was easy to put on. As with any other metallic embedded vinyl you have to prevent overstretching it or you will get stretch marks in it. Its no problem if you do though. Simply pull it off and try a new piece. Good stuff. Will buy again with plans to do the entire top part of my wife's Caddi XT5. The wheels in the photo are stock Caddillac that I plasti-dip coated in Violet Metallizer from dip your car. ... show more

1st time wrapping my car. Recommend buying 75 ft for bmw sedan. Product was good to work with. Did have a few burn spots from heating too much. Turned out great!!! Getting much needed attention. Color has different shades depending on sun out or overcast, love the matte look and so easy to clean.

My plan was to wrap the hood, roof, and trunk in this matte metallic purple finish. It really is a magnificent color, but I've encountered several issues with this material and I'll save the worst for last. I wrapped the hood first, as you can see in my pictures. For the most part, it came out well. I had (will get to that in a bit) plans to re-wrap it to get a smoother finish since my dad got a little carried away with the heat gun around the front. Now, I'm not so sure. You see, I noticed there's a bit of inconsistency in what you get. The second roll I used to cover the roof. Right away, I noticed the wrap wasn't nearly as sticky but figured it would still adhere with a bit of time in the sun. Thankfully, this past weekend it was particularly sunny. Unfortunately, that made no difference. Just this morning, I drove into work. Nothing exciting, no highway driving because it was drizzling, and Miami drivers panic during a light shower. Even so, by the time I got to work, I noticed that pieces of the wrap had inexplicably pulled up in various spots. It looked hideous. I tried to press it down and immediately noticed... the wrap wasn't sticky AT ALL. I thought this wrap was a bargain. It is, but it's also a bit of a gamble. I have a third roll I planned to use for the trunk. We'll see how that goes, but at the moment, chances are kind of 50/50 it'll actually stick. ... show more

EDIT #2: Over a year later and no replacement product has been sent out. I guess they forgot about me. With that being said, don’t waste your time or money. It’s unfortunate really. EDIT: I was able to get in touch with a technician regarding my concerns with the product and was able to turn my experience right around. Very helpful with tips on how to apply better. Didn’t realize this product had a different style of application from 3m. Awaiting new product to try again. Will update once finished. ORIGINAL: Horrible quality adhesive. It pulls away with any contour even after properly installing with a heat gun. It started bubbling up in mid 60 degree weather. I have tried to to contact customer support and they have blown me off for the last month. Don’t waste your time or money. ... show more

Used this to wrap the front/headlight fairings and my Ninja. I have ZERO experience with vinyl wraps, but this stuff was super easy to use (learned I REALLY need a heat gun before trying anything like this again though), seemed to be a really good quality, was fairly thick, but still pliable. And holy smokes if this wasn't the most spot-on color for what I wanted for Donnie's mask (the right shade of purple, a little shimmery but still matte so that it was a drastic enough difference from the stock paint). I ordered a 5'x50' roll so I could wrap my car over spring break. I am in school all year (including summer) and this would be my only opportunity to do something this large to my car for a very long time. After I prepped my car I opened the box to find that several feet of the top end of the vinyl had been shredded. Along with this there was scratches and cuts all along the roll. After reaching out to Amazon and Vivvid to get some sort of refund I was essentially told that I could either return the roll, receive a refund, and wait roughly a month and get another one or I could pay full price for half the product. Due to my situation with school I cannot wait to get a new roll as my chance to wrap my car is now. My total experience (both the product and customer support) was awful and I will be taking my business elsewhere if I ever try to wrap my car again. ... show more

This was my first time trying to wrap. Overall it did OK. It didn’t behave exactly like what I had Envisioned. It seems to be extremely thick. The color is dead on to how it’s pictured. But it didn’t give and stretch like it should’ve. I lost ALL detail from underneath. Apparently they come in different thicknesses. I didn’t know. That’s not the manufacturers fault. However, be aware of that when you purchase. It didn’t work for what u purchased it for. ... show more
