this wrap is pretty thick so you’ll need extra heat for it to adhere properly, the carbon looks really legit and shows it’s weaves under light, good stuff.

I purchased another cheaper carbon vinyl wrap first and was very disappointed at its adhesion, stretch, and just general look after instal. The stuff just wouldn’t stretch or bend and I started just using it as a ‘sticker’ on flat surfaces… but even that didn’t work very well as the adhesion was sub par. I decided to give the carbon wrap one last shot and ordered this slightly more expensive roll. My intention is to use this primarily to wrap 3D printed parts… and boy does this stuff work! It sticks like a champ, gets super stretchy and flexible when you heat it and looks super close to the real thing! I will be ordering more. ... show more

Does scratch semi easily, but looks like high quality glossy carbon fiber. Does require heat to warp to form. Doesn’t stick or stay by itself must use an adhesive of some sort to seal down the edges. Has had some issues with uncurling at the edges but if you leave enough it’ll be hidden.

I actually have worked with real carbon fiber so I 100% know what it should look like, so far I'm on the 3rd vivid carbon fiber look wrap and ot one of them looks like what they show in the picture. Not even close! This one is super dark! It has a slight gloss but they advertised it as super gloss like it had a layer of gel coat on top and the pic shows way more clear carbon affect and it's NOT! Waste of money. I'm waiting till I have about 4 or 5 of these rolls I'm going to take down and return all at once lol. I hate when sellers use photo shop to make a product look better than it is.
