I made a cork board to protect the wall under our dart board and the adhesive backing isn’t very strong. It worked for about a week and is now separating. It would be better if applied with glue.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit worried about ordering this but took a chance and glad I did. Contrary to what I read here, the adhesive is quite good. The cork is a little on the thin side but it's not easily torn. You still have to cut it with a utility knife. Overall, I am happy I got the cork. I was dubious about the product, afraid it my tear but it was easy to cut and worked well to line pantry shelves. I did not remove backing paper to adhere the product to the shelf. It works fine for shelf liner without that and with humidity I was afraid it might adhere to the paint on the shelf and remove it should I ever take it out. I am pleased with the product. I don't know about 2mm thick; I do know that however un-thick it was, it could barely hold itself together. Perhaps my 2 rolls were too dried out (as if that should be a problem with cork). Pieces just fell off and the remainder fell apart as I was unrolling it Had I then had the energy to go through a ridiculous return process of the scraps, I would have done so. I wouldn't sell this for more than $1 and still expect to be refunding customers left and right! ... show more
