After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit worried about ordering this but took a chance and glad I did. Contrary to what I read here, the adhesive is quite good. The cork is a little on the thin side but it's not easily torn. You still have to cut it with a utility knife. Overall, I am happy I got the cork. I was dubious about the product, afraid it my tear but it was easy to cut and worked well to line pantry shelves. I did not remove backing paper to adhere the product to the shelf. It works fine for shelf liner without that and with humidity I was afraid it might adhere to the paint on the shelf and remove it should I ever take it out. I am pleased with the product. I used this product around my dart board. It was easy to apply, but I also used push pins to keep it secure in place since one of the pieces I applied fell off a few hours later, but it was the largest piece & on a wall. I still like the ease of applying & the look

This was used on a bulletin board, and it was easy to staple onto the board (I did not use the adhesive back). It held up really well. The only negative was a strange smell to the cork roll.

Cut easy with scissors to a perfect fit. Adhesive holds well enough to keep things in place and allowed for re-positioning when needed during install. Gives an adequate cushion for my LP's. Just what the Doctor ordered.
