    • Would buy again
I didnt use this for car tint. I used it for my living room as a halloween decoration. I taped it to the window rather than installing it as I didnt want it to be permanent. The orange color was great and exactly what I wanted for my halloween decoration. I would suggest again.

    • MASSACHUSETTS DONT LIKE MY TINTS
Review Image by Janksta
I will not give this product less than 5 stars even though I was told in Massachusetts that colored tint is illegal, supposedly. I got pulled over the day before new years and the state trooper told me that I can't have colored tint on my car. He asked me can I see plow trucks with this tint, and without even being able to answer he answers for me and says no. From my experience I can see any lights orange, yellow, white without any issues. For me any lights that are white have a hue of orange, but if a big rig, plow truck, or police cruiser are behind me I can tell still. Either way those wanting to put orange tint or any colored tint on their vehicles in MA I would watch out. Now I have to go pay a ticket but while im there I definitely will ask about my tints before removing it as the Troop did not specify that it was "illegal". Ill update this review later with car too. ... show more

    • Super cool, but very hard to "curve"
Color: Red

Let's start with the obvious, this makes your glass whatever color you choose. No metallic or mirror finish, just color. You look in, you see red. You look out... you guessed it, RED! This was exactly what I hoped for, but BEFORE YOU BUY: this stuff does NOT like to contour to curved glass in back windows. I had it installed by a pro, the sides went fantastically. The back window however with its contours have several spots where the tint wont lay flat resulting in air pockets and "fingers". I physically watched the tinter attempting to make it stick and it would just keep bubbling no matter how much heating/cooling/scraping he did. Just keep that in mind when purchasing. ... show more

    • It's RED
Color: Red

After reading a handful of reviews, I decided to give this a shot. One of my friends is a window tint installer, so I had him take care of the installation. A few things to note that will absolutely help whoever is considering this product: - Professional installation is recommended due to a lack of shrinking ability compared to other tint on the market. It's also thinner than other films, so it's much easier to crease if you don't know what you're doing. - Colored window tint is known to fade over time, and with this film being so thin, heat rejection is very low compared to other films. For this reason, I wound up tinting the windows with 80% ceramic window tint first, and then added this red tint as a second layer. The first layer of 80% ceramic tint will act as a UV protectant for the colored film, and will hopefully extend the life indefinitely. - Measure your windows! I ordered 2 of the 2 packs initially and still didn't have enough for my rear window, so I ordered a 3rd pack. - Legality is questionable, so use at your own risk ... show more

    • Horrible UV fade.
Looks awesome at first, but then fades from a brilliant orange to almost amber in less than a month. I ordered this to do my back windows mirror orange, and front orange without mirror to get around my states tint laws, which are no mirrored tint in the front seats and or course no amber, which is pretty much exactly what I ended up with. Decent tint, just know, it’s gonna fade. And this is only a month after install… You can see the tacky fade every time I roll the windows down. Definitely won’t be doing that again. ... show more

    • Love me some VViVID products . . . but . . . *Update SEP 2026*
Color: Red
*UPDATE* SEP 2026 - It's faded and turned pink. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* -- Worked great for what I needed it for, however, this is NOT normal tint, it's that air release sticker, however, the 55 year old dad in me, had to apply this with the tint method, that is soap and water, soak it all, and squeegee it on. That created some issues during install that normal tint would not have encountered. Let no one tell you a rear window on a car, truck, van, SUV is easy to tint, they all have some kind of curve to them. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. :) ... show more

It's okay. Not the color I was looking for. However, it'll do for now. The orange isn't orange anymore
