  • True R Carbon Fiber 1.5ft x 5ft
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Alright, let me start with saying that this is my first time wrapping anything. I don’t even wrap gifts lol With that being said, I am completely amazed at how good this came out. Like, I really can’t believe I did this myself! I was very hesitant at first, but with a few DIY videos for tips.. I’m extremely happy with the outcome. The negative reviews here talk about the adhesive, the vinyl becoming brittle, the vinyl getting wrinkled, but literally all of that could of been fixed with a handy dandy heat gun. Even a hair dryer. Some tips I learned and wish I could’ve read here were: - CLEAN YOUR ITEM THROUGHLY A simple wipe down with a microfiber won’t do the trick. Isopropyl Alcohol or clay barring will remove contaminants that would affect how well the vinyl sticks. Especially towards the edge or where you come to a fold. - ALWAYS USE A LITTLE MORE FROM YOU NEED once you measure out how much you need, cut off an inch or two more. This will help when you come across wrinkles, air bubbles, or “fingers” (big long wrinkles you can’t squeegee out) the extra vinyl, make it easier to pull up on your vinyl to squeegee anything out. It also helps when you pull on your vinyl, it prevents possible tearing. Also it gives reassurance that you’ve cut enough to be able to wrap properly around your edges folds or creases. - A HEATGUN/HAIR DRYER IS YOUR BEST FRIEND Use minimal heat. It helps if you pre-heat your vinyl before applying it to your object. It will become soft and stretchy so that when you apply the vinyl not only will it stick better but it will also become flexible and take the shape of your object. (Like curves, lines, etc) also, when you’ve come to an edge, applying heat there will cause the vinyl to naturally fall over the edge and will stick better. Did your vinyl get brittle? Apply heat! Did your vinyl get wrinkled? Apply heat! Do you feel like you didn’t cut enough and won’t be able to wrap around the edge? Apply heat and stretch! - DONT BE SCARED TO PULL OR LIFT This is very durable material. But also don’t go to the extreme and over stretch. -KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON HOW VINY IS BEING APPLIED If an air bubble appears where you’ve just applied vinyl, it’s easier to pull back and work the bubble out, than to finish your wrapping and seeing an air bubble you missed located dead center on your object, making you basically unwrap your object halfway to get that bubble out Because you know it’ll bother you. You can use an old credit card or gift card (wrap the edge you’ll use with electrical tape to prevent scratching) or squeegee to assure the vinyl sticks to the entire surface. This also prevents air bubbles. - DONT FORGET TO POST-HEAT Once you’ve finished wrapping, apply heat to entire area you’ve wrapped. This is just as important as prepping the area you’re about to cover. Post heating will prevent the vinyl from trying to pull back and go back to its natural form. So with post heat you’ll know your wrap won’t lift or curl back. This is best with the heat gun, a hairdryer might be too weak for this one. I hope this helps! Enjoy! ... show more

  • A definite must buy!
Amazing Vinyl wrap!!! Couldn’t be happier with the text ya did the adhesive as well. They did a great job with the air release and the quality and strength of the vinyl is unmatched. This was my first time wrapping my car and I was able to do my cars hood by myself with 1 or 2 small mistakes. Would definitely recommend to anyone. ... show more

  • Poor quality control, poor support
Size: 1.49ft x 5ft
I bought this film twice within 2 weeks. Purchased from the same vendor, I just went to orders and hit buy again so it should have been the same product. The first roll did great, I wrapped several interior parts of my car. The second roll (installed at the same time) acted completely different. No adhesion whatsoever. The backing paper was different as well as the tape holding the roll closed. I’ve wrapped with quite a few Vvivid products and I’ve never had an issue. I contacted Vvivid to ask why the film was different considering it was the same order and to ask for advice on how to prevent the problem in the future. The answer I received was to contact the warranty dept and file a claim, pretty poor service in my opinion considering I wasn’t looking for warranty replacement. ... show more

  • Easy to use and looks great
Size: 1ft x 5ft
I used this to wrap a handle for a halloween star lord blaster I had 3d printed. Mind you, trying to wrap a handle with curves is no easy task but I was surprised how good it looked when I was finished. This is really cool stuff, has a little give for curves. If you take your time, this product works great. I would buy again. ... show more

  • Super low quality product.
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Simply put, this product is low quality. Not very flexible like other vinyl products I’ve used. Adhesive is weak and doesn’t last. Carbon fiber version has no texture and looks more like a carbon fiber printed image than the real stuff. Keep shopping, this isn’t the product you want.

  • Great low-cost carbon fiber vinyl.
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Good vinyl. I used my first of 3 rolls to wrap the diffuser on my BMW 335xi. Comparable to 3m dinoc but not as thick, and the "grain" of the weave has a somewhat circular pattern instead of going directly with the weave. It adds to the 3D effect. The 3 rolls I ordered did NOT come in a tube as stated, but Amazon shipped them in a box so it's not a big deal. All in all I'm more than satisfied with my purchase. I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because the vinyl is a little on the thin side so it's more difficult to work with--especially when heated. If you're new to vinyl wrapping take your time and err on the side of low/no heat unless absolutely necessary as it stretches fairly well at room temperature. My other reason for leaving 4 stars is because the seller states that it comes in a tube and mine did not. ... show more

  • Great product Medium skill level.
I really love this stuff. It worked for what I wanted very well, but because I’m new at wrapping it was very difficult. I didn’t have all of the tools I needed for the job so I ended up waisting a lot. Plus because I felt I didn’t need to use gloves the adhesive didn’t work the way I wanted.

  • Gotta Love carbon
Size: 8ft x 5ft
Product is good. I Have worked with carbon vinyl before. Only problem is, Amazon needs to package the product better so it doesn't get creases and dents in the roll of vinyl, inside the box. There was nothing Inside the box to protect the vinyl. Not the manufacturers fault, Amazon has the worst packaging and handling practices. ... show more
