This was great, looked really good. Compared it to my fathers black paint on his new truck and it looks exactly the same. Thin enough to wrap around corners with ease...had a protective film layer on the top, so applying it was a piece of cake (put it on...work the airl out and once your done, take that top film off....looks like it was never touched). I've been wrapping all types of vehicles, boats, signs, furniture for about 8 years and this would be my favorite glossy black i've used. 100% would recommend

I purchased this to de-chrome the trim on a car. I wrap professionally and this was the only brand I could get in time for a side job that required a 6' piece. It was very thick compared to the other two competitive brands that I am used to working with. The Vvivid website says this should be 3.9 mil, fairly close to the competitors which are roughly 3.2 to 3.5 mil. The wrap I was sent measured over 6 mil, even with the clear protective film and backing paper removed. That's great if doing large, fairly flat areas, but too thick to wrap tiny detailed pieces like chrome trim. It was noticeably less flexible when compared side by side with the other two top brands. I got stuck postponing the job while ordering one of the other top brands, and because I cut a strip from it before testing, I'm out $$$ because I can't return it. I also found that it did not stick very well. This would definitely require post-heating to activate better adhesion. Perhaps I was sent the wrong series of wrap from this manufacturer? It's just too thick for trim work.

The media could not be loaded. I did a full chrome delete with this stuff and i was amazed. Chrome deletes are small and need a good wrap that is tacky but also able to form where you need it to go. Great for the price. I would use again.

This product was really high quality. It is amazing how well it works. Just make sure to watch videos on how to do this before you use it. Make sure that your surface is completely clean as well.

Ordered this film as a more “workable” film to the premium line. And I was shipped the same exact film. It’s packages as “VViViD +”.. yet the backing paper says “premium” and has the same exact adhesive and gloss as the premium line. The film is still unworkable and is not as advertised. I’ve emailed VViViD support with all of this. I’m $200+ in film that’s in the trash. Don’t recommend any of this VViViD film. It may be shiny and have great gloss but good luck working with it.

I got this wrap because I have used it before with good experiences. This time there is nothing different, but I did find out that this is 1” short of 5’. This is 4’11 which is annoying for me, trying to wrap something exactly 5’ long.

We had a lot of sun damage on our 14 year old black SUV. Primarily the hood and roof. This wrap really works great. We tried to apply it without research and quickly learned that watching UTube video instructions is a must for beginners like us. With the right tips and a blowdryer in place of a heat gun, we succeeded and it was worth the money and time. I would suggest to tackle this project as a two person team if you have never tried it. It is also good to know, if you mess up, you can always peel it off and try again. How can you loose?

I’ve used several brands of wrap and seen several gloss blacks. This one looks very silky and smooth and is mirror like. I wrapped the roof of my car alone in like 15 minutes and it looks better than my paint.
