I bought as a Christmas gift for my husband who's office dress code recently stepped down to business casual. He has been wearing a shirt and tie to work every day for 23 yrs and basically just stopped wearing his tie. 🤦♀️ Clearly he needed some new looks and when I saw this I thought it would look great layered over a button down, polo or plain crew neck while also pairing with dress pants, khakis or jeans. So, that's a lot of options in one item, TAKE MY MONEY I thought. So glad I did too because it is a LOT more substantial and expensive looking in person and it is really soft (bonus points for the cozy snuggle-friendly feel that will make for nice nights curled up in front on the fire together.). I didn't notice the fleece lining in the description and it wasn't until I was wrapping it and had unzipped it a bit to tuck the tag inside when folding it into the gift box, but was very pleasantly surprised by this small finishing touch. The lining is in a contrasting color from the exterioe (on the navy sweater the lining was a tan and chocolate color plaid) and while technically it is fleece but it is not the fluffy/textured type of fleece I would normally have envisioned had I seen that description, but instead is the softest, smoothest flannel that has a beautiful hand which elevates this entire item significantly. The zipper is very well.made and zips daily with a smooth, quiet closure for adjusting the sweater on to a variety of looks depending on what you need. Half zip, quarter zip, full zip all look great,and the weight is heavy enough to allow the bottom band to lay smoothly without puckering or turning and the cable texture is deep, giving a european hand-knit appearance adding up to an overall high end, expensive looking casual cardigan sweater warm enough to stand in as outer ware in the fall yet not bulky so it can be easily worn under winter coats to allow for wear through the coldest North East weather. I am so excited to see him open this on Christmas. It looks like it will fit well and if it does, I expect this will be the choice for Christmas day visits to the family, and I will come back and edit the review with a photo of him wearing along with his thoughts on the wear ability and advise on comfort. But first impression is this is a fantastic buy considering how much you get for the price ... show more

A great sweater but I'd only got to wear it once good Ole Texas weather ! I recommend looking a each picture they offer this one has a design running along the top of the shoulder. I thought it was a solid color .

I live where it's quite warm all year round so I've got very little need for sweaters and coats. But for a long winter trip, I needed to get more options and this sweater did not disappoint. I bought this and another design and they both did great. (If you see that other review, it's not a mistaken duplicate.) It is very soft both inside and out. The zipper works well. The pockets are well placed. And, best of all, it served as a warm layer when needed and as an light coat on occasion. More than once I wore just this out into weather in the teens and twenties (Fahrenheit). It wouldn't be enough to spend a long time in such weather (or if there were any precipitation) but it held my body heat well enough to walk a few blocks here and there in cold, dry weather. Best of all I was able to dress it up and down. It is obviously pretty casual. But if you put it over a button down shirt, it works just fine as a business casual office appropriate sweater. ... show more

Well-made, attractive garment, but was much too small. I ordered a Medium, but it fit more like an Extra Small. I had to return the item and received the best customer service ever. Bravo! I highly recommend!!
