My kid loves this, or I would rate it lower. But, it is LOUD. There is no volume control. And, because it is loud, I hear everything it says. The caterpillar says "I love you" and does kiss noises among other terms of affection. I don't like this. I definitely do not approve of inanimate objects offering affection to my kids. I want them to understand what real love is. It creeps me out that this weird little plastic thing is telling my daughter "I love you." Nope. Not OK. That's just weird. I bought this for my special needs classroom because it is bendable and has lights and sounds. It also the perfect size for my kids to hold and play with with with having to be on a table or the floor. The sounds are not annoying. Great product.
