plugged it into hdmi from my laptop and it powered on just fine. The wiring unfortunately doesn't have a guide, so you have to refer to an image from the store page to know how everything plugs together. Mounting is a pain since the only holes are 4 on the back of the disokay and they are offset to one side. a 3d printed clamp style mount that sits over the display bezels will likely work better. ... show more

    • Not bad if you can reprogram the device you're attaching it to.
This screen has been working great for me, but... When it was first used, the screen would always default to 1280*1024 resolution, when I tried to reset the resolution, the display would be stretched oddly because the control board insisted on being at 1280*1024. On my raspberry Pi I had to disable the HDMI EDID and set my own display mode, group, and resolution. It's not running great at. 1600x600 (25% better resolution). ... show more

You see the picture? There is a black power cable on the left, next to the VGA cable. This product does not come with said cable. You're going to have to pull one out of your bum bum to actually power the thing.
