I'm not sure if I lucked out on a flash sale or what, but I got these for $18! I'd be happy with them for $40-50 even! They look great and are quite comfortable. Decently grippy outsole, and doesn't take a break-in period. The side ankle zipper is nice for taking them on and off quickly. The only part of them that gives away their cheapness is the sole if you look at it from the bottom. I've gotten many compliments on these boots when I go out and people are shocked to hear the price I paid for them. Definitely buy it if it's on sale, and even if it's not, I'd say they are easily worth $40-50.

These look nice! For what I paid, I am incredibly happy. But, I'll also be very happy if they last a week. I'll consider these "Chinese-made fast-fashion quality". I hope they're durable but I don't have high expectations there. I just needed something that looks nice until I figure out what kind of footwear I need for a new job. They fit like a glove. Unfortunately, I wish they fit like boots. Toe space is narrow but not overly uncomfortable, I prefer Keens and Birks, so of course these are a little narrow for me. I usually wear 10.5 US, 44 EU but size down to 10 for shoes only available in whole sizes and sandals. These fit as an exact, maybe scant 10.5. No room for thicker socks or insoles and they'll be tight at the end of the day. Stitching, gluing, zippers, and other materials look good. No obvious flaws anywhere. There is an annoying small stitch at the back of the heel, I hope it doesn't cause a blister. I ordered "coffee brown" and the box I received is labeled as such but the color seems pretty light. Overall, well, I didn't have high expectations but these have generally exceeded them so far. For a Jackson, these are great but they're not worth a Grant. If you need something that looks nice for a single occasion or occasional wear, I say give them a shot.

These boots cover all the necessary elements (support, style, durability) for every day office work and are comfortable too. I paid close to $20 for them and have not regretted a penny spent!

When I first laid eyes on the Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots, I was immediately captivated by their rugged aesthetic. The robust design, emphasized by the waterproof feature and the unique pattern on the sole, looked like it promised an adventure. But as we all know, appearances can be deceptive. To give you a more comprehensive view, my relationship with these boots is complicated. For someone who’s an avid hiker, my expectations for performance, comfort, and durability are set fairly high. While the boots performed reasonably well in some aspects, they did leave room for improvement in others, making them a mixed bag. 🥾 Aesthetic Appeal: Looks to Impress but Not to Last The Vostey hiking boots are undoubtedly stylish. The first time you put them on, you’ll feel ready to conquer not just mountains but even casual social outings. However, the aesthetic quality comes with a caveat: durability. After a few hikes, the material started to show signs of wear, and the color began to fade slightly. For boots designed for the rough terrains, this is somewhat disappointing. 🌧️ Waterproofing: More Like Water-Resistant One of the main features that drew me to these boots was the promise of waterproofing. While they did keep my feet dry in light rain, they were not able to hold up under more severe wet conditions. They are more water-resistant than waterproof, so don’t expect them to be your savior in a downpour or during a stream crossing. 👟 Comfort and Fit: A Tale of Two Stories The initial fitting was snug and comfortable; however, that comfort started to wane on longer hikes. However, if you’re on a budget and looking for something to get you through less demanding terrains, these boots can be a consideration. 🤔 Final Thoughts and Summary In conclusion, the Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots are a mixed bag. They do offer a level of style, basic waterproofing, and initial comfort. However, they lack in areas of long-term durability and sustained comfort on more challenging terrains. These boots are not your go-to for intensive hiking expeditions but could serve you well for short hikes and casual wear. My experience was neither overwhelmingly positive nor entirely negative, landing these boots a solid 3-star rating. I wore these for the first time yesterday to work. I am on my feet most of the day and these held up fine and were comfortable. I do use extra insoles for my plantar fasciitis. I got a lot of compliments from my coworkers on the looks of them. They couldn't believe I found such nice boots for $22. I would definitely buy these again!
