I have pretty bad arthritis in my fingers; it hurts to put my hand into a tight space to 'look' for something. I was looking for a purse that was roomy but not a black hole, if you know what I mean. This purse (I got the large size) is great - lightweight, roomy, and the zippers move easily. But the BEST part is the strap; not only can I wear it crossbody but I can wear it on my shoulder and it doesn't slide off!! I love the handbag. It has all the features it says it does. I had bought a really cute pink Vera Wang purse but after I took out the paper stuffing it collapsed and nothing I put in it would make it stand upright. I returned it. (not Amazon ). This purse stands up by itself with just a few items in it. I am so pleased I am ordering the large one to compare because I will be traveling by train and I have learned from previous trips you need all the zippered pockets you can get for tickets, phone, and other things! I wish they had the large one in light green but I will settle for the blue one. Update: I bought the large one and I am so very pleased with it. It is big, but it has all the pockets with zippers I will need to travel (by train). Both purses are very light and both pretty much stand upright. ... show more

I purchase a Kipling bag in grey at the same time I got this turquoise one for half the price. This bag has more zippered pockets & inside pockets for organizing than the Kipling (which I rarely use now) - the purse itself is very lightweight, well stitched, durable fabric, & wipes clean, the strap is great because the underside fabric has ridges that keeps it from slipping off my shoulder. It is so easy to keep things organized and it's a great color as well. It's lightness totally depends on what & how much you carry inside - and it is roomy!     • fun inexpensive but not well designed

I have been sick and was looking for a lightweight alternative to my leather bags. This had the added virtue of a fun color (the lilac). Pros: the strap is sturdy, long and adjustable. Waterproof lots of pockets Roomy enough for most things definitely light weight Cons: pocket design. The outside little ones are hard to fasten with their three sided zippers and so not really useful, the inside ones with no zippers are flimsy and things fall out. Zipper pulls are inexpensive ugly alloy, two broke within two months (they're brittle) WIthout pulls, the pockets are hard to close, and pulls are impossible to replace. There is no pocket for a water bottle. The fabric is cheap and cheap-looking, made more so by the pleats of the pockets, which are supposed to expand the pockets but only make it look rumpled. The strap is cotton webbing lined with the purse fabric -- the fabric is slippery. I got two months of fun out of it, not bad for the price, but not my long-term choice. ... show more

I've been having issues with vinyl purses peeling and falling apart shortly after purchasing them. Cloth bags tear and fray. I can't afford high-end leather bags. This nylon one seems well made, is VERY roomy (I purchased the standard size, not the larger one), has pockets galore and the army green is as shown in the photo. Bag totally works. All my stuff will absolutely fit. But be aware-- the colour is not "Lake Blue". It's a darker teal colour. Fine for fall. But it would be nice of ot was closer to the colours in the pictures.
