    • Fits well, loud and raspy at high end
This is currently the only bolt on I have on the car, a 1998 Prelude Base Auto. Removing the old system was the most difficult part of doing the install... had to end up drilling the old studs out of the stock cat, and you will certainly have to deal with the existing heat shield on the cat. But I digress. I was a little concerned about fitment based on other reviews, but I found that everything lined up just right. A few things to note, as there are a couple of ways to do this incorrectly as I saw no specific instructions. When installing, start the bolts but don’t tighten anything until you have everything placed on the car. I attached the short section to the cat with the swivel end toward the back of the car. I didn’t weld anything. With the gasket and the compression of the bolts, it should hold tight. I got an aftermarket set of exhaust hangers and the holes on them were a little bit more spaced out than stock, which helped overall. The straight section can be mounted upside down, so pay attention and make sure the welded hangers are pointed toward the ground. The hangers were a bit of stretch here but I got it to work. I mounted the rear section with no issues and then the bend with no issues. Everything is in the exhaust channel and honestly looks pretty great. Sounds pretty good on the low end, BUT the reason I’m taking off a star is because it’s simply too loud and raspy under acceleration. I know, it’s a Honda. This is not my daily driver, so it may not be as important to me as someone else. At such a reasonable price, it’s a great deal overall, but you gotta know what you’re doing. ... show more

    • Exactly As advertised
Installed this on my 1998 Prelude base. Bolted right up no issues, no leaks. Way to loud for my taste, I couldn't hear myself think while driving the car. Ended up putting the stock resonator on it and it sounds a lot better but some modifications are needed to bolt it onto the stock resonator pipe.

It came early, easy install, but the muffler leaves carbon my bumper. Dont know if I need a another muffler but other than that works great.
