I purchased this for my fifteen-year-old daughter her first makeup kit. I know I know Girls is starting to wear makeup at 8 years old I'm just not one of them parents won't allow my daughter to walk around like a lady of the night. LOL the case is pretty I know where my daughter to see if she's going to love it and have a lot of makeup inside. To me you could have been $8 cheaper but I'm sure we're over the holiday season they were going south Great by though I purchased this for my 15 year old daughter her first makeup kid. I know I know girls is starting to wear makeup at 8 years old I'm just not one of them parents that's going about my daughter to walk around like a Lady of the night. This is a Christmas present for my little girl so i cannot attest to the quality of the makeup itself yet; however; it looks like she will enjoy herself thoroughly. As an adult, the makeup is probably not a selection I would wear myself. My 7 year old takes my makeup and gets extremely creative.. one minute I have a clean daughter and a full makeup case.. the next I have Bambi and I'm left wondering how she even managed to use the amount of makeup she did on her face :) As for the case: It is adorable! Her name is London, she will be thrilled. It is a little dirtied or scuffed? right out of the package as shown in the picture. Hopefully it comes off easily. The walls (I guess) of the case are not super sturdy. They hold their shape pretty well but they don't feel super sturdy and durability does kinda concern me. Overall I love it, but I'm not QUITE sold on the price point for this item being fair. That being said I'm not planning on returning the item. ... show more

I enjoyed giving this to my daughter for christmas because the lip colors weren't too loud and neither were the eye shadows. I'm also very thankful it didn't come with mascara. Haha The only drawback to this product is that you can't take the pieces out of the plastic that comes in the case. Also, I had to buy some makeup brushes separately. Otherwise, excellent product.
