Saw a review which highly recommended these as being ultra comfortable and able to handle cross training. Key for me is stability, not because I'm unsteady but just to be both comfortable and safe when out walking on city streets where uneven pavement is often prevalent. The cushioning in these shoes is super comfortable with good arch support while not overly bouncy, so my walking steadiness (iPhone measured) was totally consistent with my long term average. Mission accomplished. I know there are arguments against this level of support, some maintaining that flatter and less cushioned shoes are better for my feet to "feel the ground". I found my sense of foot to ground was totally fluid, not something I had to think about consciously for long once I got into my stride. I do have flatter cross-trainers I use on an elliptical and they serve me well for that purpose. So this review is centered around walking comfort and stability on urban concrete streets. The fit was accurate to my typical size, toes placed in front with just enough room to wiggle and no heel slippage behind. I got the blue version, my favorite color. Bought this for my husband because he complains about his feet all the time while he walks a lot (counting his steps) daily. He had a fasciitis planter last month and is better. Hoping these shoes will prevent him from getting is again. So far he loves him and wore them daily without the need of using Dr. Scoll in his shoes. Every day he complimented these shoes.
