These are hard to put on all the way of a kayak paddle. I didn't get it where I wanted it, just as I pulled it more a piece of it ripped off, so I stopped where it's at. It has saved my hands, so I don't regret buying them.

I really like the cushion and height it give while paddling. I’m a lefty so everything is more difficult it seems. Lol Kept my hands dry and cool! Tricky putting (water helps slide) them right on!

So they are what they are, a foam grip, and probably make paddling easier on your hand... however be careful when installing them as I had one tear when installing it, the other one went ok.

These came to me very clean and new (unlike another set I ordered). They were pretty hard to get on, which is great because they will not slip on my paddle. I have only used them for one kayak trip but they did a great job for that one trip.
