Description

VNLA (Vanilla) has designed and manufactured high-end roller skates and skate components since 2005 and is the premier brand for jam and rhythm skaters. The Parfait is the first Ladies high-top outdoor roller skate designed by the brand. Made with microfiber uppers in 3 vibrant hues, the boot offers soft yet structured support. The inside of the boot is fully lined with ample padding for an incredibly comfortable fit, and shows off a colorful pattern that stays true to the Parfait name. The contrasting tongue is extra thick and durable. Each pair comes with contour insoles that can be added if your feet are narrow; offering a more snug fit! The boot is mounted to an aluminum plate and double-action aluminum trucks with 85-90A polyurethane cushions, finished with a rubber adjustable toe stop. The Parfait is also 20% lighter than most high- top roller skates! The 58mm x 32mm, 78A transparent polyurethane wheels complete with ABEC-7 bearings are ideal for outdoor skating, whether you are leisurely cruising the sidewalk or grinding at the skate park. You can also enjoy these skates at the rink too! At a mid-range price, the quality and comfort of the VNLA Parfait roller skate cannot be beat! Please note: the Parfait boot is made in Ladies sizing. Ladies, just order your every day shoe size! The boot is great if you have wide feet, and if you have narrow feet simply add the included contour insole to your boot! See "size help" for a full size chart. For half sizes, we recommend ordering 1/2 size down rather than 1/2 size up. For example, if you are a Ladies 8.5 shoe, we recommend ordering the Ladies 8.

The actual site tells you to order your regular shoe size. I didn't notice sizing down recommendation. I was skeptical anyway and did the usual 1/2 size up like I do in boots. Perfect fit. I also noticed it's the exact same price on their website.

Still a tad bit tight but I think that's because if all the padding. Fits good. My only issue is that when I tie the laces up to the hook and I'm skating, there's discomfort where it feel like the material is poking me. It's not sharp but it is uncomfortable. P.s These Skates are stiff.

I think this is the third pair of skates I’ve bought and had to return. I had high hopes of them being wide enough since they seem to be known for that, but they still hit my toes weird. I also noticed that the lace hooks bent as I tried to put them on. I would be terrified of them popping off if I kept them. The description says it comes with inserts if your feet aren’t that wide, but they were not in my box. Gosh they’re pretty though!!! ... show more

I researched a while which skates I wanted, and chose these (in blue, I would have ordered the salmon color but I wanted to make sure my protective gear matched well, so I went with blue). I chose them because I heard that they are a wide fit and I have wider feet. They definitely are, I might even consider them extra wide so I had to make sure I tightened the laces a lot. If you have wide feet these are perfect for comfort. Can’t tell you much how they ride though, because I can stand and after that I look like a baby learning how to walk for the first time. But ask me in a few months and hopefully I can roll a little bit. 5 stars, buy them! ... show more

I just pulled these out of the box. They sure are pretty and seem to be very well made. My concern is with the sizing. I have been cursed with Flintstone feet, so out of alllllll the skates I could have bought, I chose VNLA because they rumored to ve great for wide feet. According the the VNLA sizing chart, I should order size 7. Well, I ordered a size 8 because even though my actual length is size 7, the extra wideness makes for a difficult fit. I also have partial paralysis in my foot due to a military injury, so shoe/skate is of major importance. Weeeeellll, let me tell you that I am not sure where anyone gets the idea that these skates are for wide feet. While they may be a bit wide in the toe box, the padding is so damn thick that it defeats the purpose of being wider. Like why bother making the toe box wider if you are just going to stuff the area with padding. ??? Soooo, I am going to attempt to make these work. If the super over the top excessive padding of these skates don't form to my feet I will simply write a sucky review. So I will try them out, and update my review. ... show more

I haven’t roller skated or roller bladed in at least 20 years, but I used to love it! I decided I wanted to get some skates to wear when my son is riding his bike or scooter (he’s 5 so I’m not too embarrassing yet). I have wide feet so I knew finding a good pair that I liked might be a challenge. I did online research and lots of ladies in my position swore by the VNLA parfait. They are plenty wide enough and reasonably comfortable out of the box. The boot is nice and supportive, but a bit stiff so I’ll need to break them in some. The VNLA sizing chart was spot on. I wear a 7.5 wide in new balance running shoes so I followed the brand’s sizing advice and ordered a 7. Usually I go up to an 8 in footwear that isn’t labeled as wide, so I half expected to need to send them back and exchange for a bigger size. But I didn’t! 7 was a perfect fit! These are my first time purchasing skates. I'm a recreational skater, can't do tricks, or any other fancy footwork, just like to skate around for some fun and exercise. These skates were very comfy. I skated for over two hours, and my feet didn't hurt or feel sore during the entire time. I have super wide flat feet. I bought them because of the reviews for the wide feet, and they didn't disappoint. I wear a size 10 in ladies' shoes, which I ordered, and they fit perfectly. I'm also a "big" girl, 260+ lbs, so I was excited not to have my feet hurt at the end. Happy skating!! ... show more

I ordered these because I have wide feet and after doing much research heard these were good for them. Upon reading reviews I read thr skates had removable insoles with a lot of padding. Well my skates were delivered without any insoles, just the hard flat part on the bottom of shoes. No cusion at all. And not my feet freaking hurt. Idk if it was just mine. They came in original box and were wrapped in plastic, so I'm not sure what happen? But I'm not happy. Also, they came with no crab tool or any type of tools for the skates as all other brands give you when you buy skates. Again, I am not sure if that is the brand that doesn't send them or a mess up along the way. But after buying insoles and a tool, it would of been the same price/cheaper to get the other pair, ones that were a little better. ... show more
