The reviews are right about these not having anything to keep them in place however with my 2017 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 they fit like a glove and kinda just pop in, it doesn't fit around my review mirror since I have stuff on it but that's okay cuz I just left it open instead but it does stay in place just so long as your visors are down, idk about the whole 30 degrees colder but that's not what I got it for anyway i got it so my seats and everything in there wouldnt be burning my family, my kids or my hands or skin when getting in the car, the sun is almost 100 percent blocked out except for a few little cracks and crevisis, it works really well and the coverage like I said is excellent, it's not easy to fold, but I am still trying to figure that out lol and the thing on my steering wheel is the bag for it not actually a stiring wheel cover, I just put it there just because I can haha. And its big and bulky so I better figure out how to fold it so I can store it better.

EDIT...just got home from 4119 miles, 5 nights sleeping in RAV4 (5 in hotel) and the shades worked and folded up easily afterwards. Enabled me to park in a well lit area while blocking most all light. I used a blanket to block out rear window light by hanging it over the car seats as I slept in front seat. Going on a 1500 mile, 1.5week trip of which half will be sleeping in my car. I do these trips a few times a year and finally got smart enough to think about blocking the street lamps in parking lots. Yes, I'm a slow learner. I went to the garage just now and unfolded all the parts and all of them fit really well. The front and side windiw covers unfold fast and fold up by twisting them and folding in half (similar to my photography backgrounds). Light blockage was great, they stay in place, the magnets on the side curtain are strong enough to hold the curtains, but not strong enough to be a pain in the butt as you place them and/or transport them. I do plan on sleeping all the way in the back and have cut a piece of poster board to cover the back window and 2 side windows which slide into the gaps really nice and give me complete coverage and the privacy I want in between hotel stays. I love these Wandering adventures and now I feel extra comfy in the back of my RAV4 as I travel around and geocache and sight see. Thank you for a great product at a reasonable price. The one bad review I see thus far says he "would have returned but it was out of the return window and he can't fold them". Hilarious. Either of those actions are not difficult.

For reference, I have these in a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. The material is thick; thicker than the other sun shades I have tried, which is nice. They also seem well made. I only have them 4 stars because the ad shows a perfect fit for my vehicle, and they’re not. I suppose if I got to work 10 minutes early, I could take something small and run it around every edge to tuck it in to make it fit better, switching between driver and passenger side to do that, but I don’t have that kind of time. The inside wire stuff on the windshield screen isn’t as big as others I have bought so they don’t have any tension holding them in place. If I don’t fold my visors down all the way, it falls at the top. The side window shades are a great addition to sun protection for your car. Although the sun peeps through a bit on the corners, it’s almost a perfect fit. The side shades are kinda hard to fold, but I managed to figure it out. All in all, I probably wouldn’t recommend them to others, but I’m not returning them, and I’ll continue to use them until I find one that fits better.

The product fits acceptably and blocks the sun. The windshield component would work even better if it was 2 inches wider, side to side. It would fully span the windshield and truck into the edges better, allowing the extra edge material to do a better job blocking sun in the corners. The side windshield shields fit very well and the extra fabric tucks into the little creases making a good sun light block. The windshield shield is made with a silver reflective material, but the side windows are a black fabric that doesn't seem to provide any heat reduction quality. Don't know why they weren't message of the same reflective material. Overall they do a good job, but the little details would make them even better.

The windshield sunshade is easy to put up, take down and fold. Keeps the sun off the dash and steering wheel for seriously reduced temps. The side window shades are an added bonus, also easy to put up and take down and great for additional protection from the suns rays, especially if the sun is directly hitting the side of the vehicle. Too new to judge longevity so I'll update at the end of our Florida summer! So far, a great buy! UPDATE: So I bought one for my wife's `16 Jeep Cherokee. The windshield shade is just as great as the one for my `11 Ram, but the side window shades are the wrong size, they're too small and useless for her. While that sucks, I'm still impressed with the windshield shade and still recommend this brand. Maybe someone from Karlty's will see this and send me the correct side shades for a Jeep Cherokee.
