Very good product. It was a bit tough keeping everything straight, but it worked out well. Be patient and take your time. This support is as sturdy as the posts that don't have the support. I recommend wrapping some sort of cushion or tape brace on the hammering point so the paint doesn't chip. Had a high wind storm and was hoping the fence wouldn't fall, it didn't. Highly recommend.

Very long and thick, which would seem to be a plus until you need to sledge hammer it in place. These would be great for heavy fence post propping, but in my case, I will use them as a metal out-of-ground brace in a heavy windstorm.

I had some leaning 4x4 fence posts and ordered this to correct the lean. I was able to stabilize the fence using this item. I was even able to level, stabilize, and reset my swinging wooden gate. Good item. Make sure you have a heavy rubber mallet to drive them into place. It requires some effort, but once seated, I’ve noticed no movement. A great solution to fix posts instead of replacing them.

Almost overkill design-wise, but when I was finished I knew that the fence post was going nowhere and I wouldn't need to buy a new one.

These are a temporary repair for fence posts that have rotted or broken at ground level. I found them to be effective and straightforward to install. Driving them into the ground is not easy. I attached a 2x4 temporarily to the upper part and used a 5-pound mallet to drive them in. The included screws for securing them to the posts are junk. Some of them were bent coming out of the bag. I used some coated deck screws that were on hand of another project. As I said at the beginning this is a temporary fix for actually replacing the damaged fence posts, but hopefully it will hold for a few more years.
