I purchased a vivo compressor and airbrush kit to replace a small old worn unit. Have been very impressed with how well the Vivo items have held up. One of the best airbrushes I actually have used. So when I needed an additional airbrush, I specifically searched for a vivo. This is the one I have and it’s not a disappointment. Seems to spray even better than the basic airbrush. Pretty good value and quality you would expect from Iwata and other $100 + priced airbrushes.

Mystery of airflow? I found that it worked fine for the first couple of times that I used it. After using I put it in the case for later use and when I tried to use it now no air comes out. I have been using airbrushes since 1984 and this one is a mystery. It comes with a cleaning kit and I always cleanup after using it. I have it narrowed down to the tip because removing it gives me the airflow. Since this is a off-brand airbrush I would have to dig to see if I can order a replacement tip assembly. They provided an array of cleaning tools and I wondered about this and now I know why.

I couldn't get this airbrush to work at all. It started out working ok, and then it just stopped at all. No clog, nothing. I took it apart to find that some of the parts were different (such as the trigger mechanism) than your average airbrush. It pushed air and water through just fine, but refused to push paint through, even when thinned out. Its better to save your money and get a better quality and more expensive airbrush.
