First of all, I would like to thank the excellent and outstanding Customer Service support at VIVO, They truly look into your questions and concerns quickly! I am impressed when a company like VIVO stands by the quality of its products and I'm glad to say this company does go above and beyond to help resolve any issues with their products. Having said that, I paid full retail price for this item, I did not receive this item at a discount or for free for my review, To begin my review, I want to say that I was looking for a projector 100in 4:3 format screen like this and I almost decided to go with another product in similar features but at probably 2x the price of what this costs, I did do my research and I found that for my particular needs, this screen would do just fine for my purposes, (I just watch HBO and sporting events with friends) and obviously, this VIVO product did not disappoint in the least. Not all projectors are made the same (obviously), I have a ViewSonic, PJD5134 3D (allegedly 3D) and I promise you, the colors the projector sends out into this screen are amazing!, I'm too lazy to take photos, but it DOES looks like you're looking at another huge TV (unless you're being picky of course) In all seriousness, I do not regret making this purchase and I have already encouraged a few family members to look into these affordable and reasonably priced projector screens from VIVO. If you have no idea how big 100" inches are, please, do yourself a favor and measure it, you will be blown away if you don't do it, in my case, size is no issue, the bigger the picture the better, but some people that live in small rooms might want to double check if 100" inches is really what they need, some may think it may be over-kill, some, like myself, simply love it and think this baby rocks!. Anyways, you can also do some fine tuning via your projector's settings, adjust the brightness, contrast, ratio, width, height, etc, etc. I have it set to mostly the default settings and it still looks great! but I did have to adjust the brightness to 55 in my projector's settings to achieve my desired brightness level and I'm very content with it. The setup is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Basically you unfold the tripod/stand that comes with this, hook up the bottom and top part of the projector screen, adjust the height of the pole from the back and you're set! It's that easy. Even my 12yr old niece can do it. Hope this helps someone out there, I for one, do not regret my purchase and have nothing but positive views on this projector screen and the company that stands behind it.     • 4:3 Aspect Ratio in 2023?
Size: 84-inch Color: Black Frame
The first problem I had with this projector was really my fault for not paying enough attention when I bought it. It's written clearly in the description, but it slipped by me that the aspect ratio of this screen is 4:3 aspect ratio. Who uses that aspect ratio in 2023? If you buy this for watching TV/movies on, you're going to end up with a lot of wasted space and a screen size much smaller than 84". Realistically, you'll end up with a projected image size more like 70". With a screen that rolls up into itself, it would seem that the idea was for it to be portable. The stand collapses down into a small size, which lends itself to portability, but there is no carrying case. So you are left carrying around an awkward and heavy screen that rolls into a heavy duty metal case and a stand. Portability doesn't seem feasible. When put on the stand, the screen turns from side to side quite a bit while it's just sitting. This can be fixed by bracing it, but not ideal. When the screen is extended, the sides of it curl, resulting in a screen that isn't flat and focus is difficult to achieve all over the screen. All-in-all, I would not recommend this screen. Shipping took several days to arrive (much slower than the projector that was ordered at the same time). We returned it the same day it arrived and ordered a more compact, lighter, larger, more portable screen with a carrying case for the same price and have been much happier with it. ... show more
