It constantly fails to automatically sync results, forcing me to re-pair the device almost every time I take a reading. Instead of "eliminating manual tracking," I spend more time troubleshooting the Bluetooth connection than I do actually checking my sugar. Being new to using a glucose monitor, I found the VivaGuard Ino Smart Blood Glucose Monitor Kit quite straightforward despite some initial challenges. One of the features I appreciate is that it can be used without the app. As someone who isn't tech-savvy, I couldn't get past the password setup—it wouldn't tell me the requirements, which was a bit frustrating. Luckily, using the device without the app works just fine for my needs. The monitor itself is compact, rechargeable, and comes with a nifty little bag, making it perfect for my occasional use. Figuring out the right lancing device setting took some trial and error, and I needed to try a few settings before getting a good blood sample. This might be more a reflection of my inexperience rather than a fault of the device. The included lancets and test strips are generous, and given my usage, they should last a long time. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking to casually monitor your blood sugar levels. This glucose monitor set is amazing. It comes with the little machine that “reads” results and comes with loads of lancets and testing panels. There are good instructions included that make this easy to get started and use. Everything is packaged to be sterile. The whole set is small enough to be easy to store. A small bag to keep your items in is part of the kit. There is a charging cable for the monitor machine included. This is a very good set to use at home or when traveling and takes the guesswork out of your health.
