I do many different projects and crafts that require me to move and do detail work or lift and cut things that require standing. The option to have a standing desk has been something I have wished for, for some time thinking it would be a back saver. This desk frame is truly is so fantastic! I used my desk top from Ikea and it fits great in my very small space and allows me to work at almost any height for the best angle of work. It has a wonderful saving mode, to keep your favorite height settings. I have a small Alex drawer unit for my supplies which needs to go underneath the table. I'm able to get the height to clear that as well as give the perfect height to keep my arms at the best ergonomic angle for working. I currently have only two saved settings which i can easily adjust for the tasks needed. I saved the perfect sitting desk top height and also the best standing height so I don't need to bend as low when working on jobs like cutting fabric for quilting. Unless you have the option, one can't truly appreciate have the ability to alter the height needed for personal preference as well as the job at hand. I'm over the moon thrilled to have this study and well made desk frame! When following the directions er adjusted the moving mechanism to be at the back away from me to give more safe clearance of the rolling moving device. If you have small children or dogs, you'd need to be mindful of using when altering the height so as not to catch small fingers, hair or fur in the exposed rolling bar unit. I would recommend this desk frame to anyone who would love having the ability to alter their table height to fit their needs at the touch of a button!!!

Can I give it 6 stars? This standing desk frame exceeded my expectations in every way. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. The frame is made of high-quality carbon steel, and you can feel the sturdiness the moment you start assembling it. It supports up to 220 lbs, which is more than enough for a hefty desktop setup, including multiple monitors and other heavy equipment. The motor is impressively quiet and smooth. Even when adjusting the desk height, the motor barely makes a sound, which is a big plus if you're in a shared workspace or just prefer a quieter environment. The soft start and stop features give it a premium feel. It moves really high at the highest setting, and that is perfect. Setting it up was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions and well-labeled hardware. The cable management tray and clips included are a thoughtful addition, keeping everything tidy under the desk. The programmable height presets make it easy to switch between sitting and standing throughout the day, which is perfect for maintaining an ergonomic workspace. We are really impressed with this desk frame. We were looking for a frame to convert our desktop to an adjustable sitting or standing desk. This frame is perfect for our IKEA desktop. The frame itself is VERY sturdy and well constructed. This frame isn't wobbly or cheap feeling at all. While the legs are thick, the feet are quite wide, so our under desk area doesn't feel cramped for space. It was easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear. This frame will support way more weight that we will ever put on it. We like that this frame is adjustable as we may want to upgrade to a larger desktop at some point in the future. The motor is very quiet and much faster than what we had anticipated. It moves the desktop up and down quickly, smoothly, easily, and quietly. There are four presets for various heights which is awesome. Especially, if you have more than one person using the desk! We appreciate the included cable management box, cable hooks and headset hooks. This is really a nice bonus feature to help keep our setup looking aesthetically pleasing. Overall, we have no complaints with this motorized frame. It's a 10/10 recommended!

I absolutely love this item and even though I searched previously for something close to what this offers, this item checked off all the boxes for my needs. The feet are longer than most stands out there and they provide me with a better sense of stability for the size desktop that I selected to use. The whole stand took me less than half an hour to put together and I was able to maneuver this to its location by myself. The lifting motor is very quiet and raises smoothly to its full height. Its rated to hold little over 200 lbs but I only use if for computer components so I no where near that max limit. I appreciate having the tray to hold my power strip and it does allow me to keep all my cables managed and organized. I am using butcher block I got from my local hardware store (the same stuff used in kitchens) and it fits and works perfectly with the max extended size of this stand.

This is a great option for building your own standing desk. You get the frame with the motor and controls, all you need to add is the desk top itself. This allows you to turn the desk top you want into a standing desk. It's perfect for matching your preferred look/decor/space. The frame and motor are both excellent quality. This is the base of a great standing desk. It is built to last a long time. If you are reasonably handy, you do great things with this and you will be very happy with the new office that you build.

I've owned a couple of the electric standing desks and would highly recommend them for health reasons. I can't wait to build my own top for this set. Motor seems quiet as advertised. Will try and update when installed and ready.
