We love these frames! Light weight and hangs well with the Velcro strips. The plastic front piece comes with two sided plastic protection. I found that clear packing tape reversed lifts the plastic protectors effortlessly.

I bought these to put up some photos at work. While inexpensive they are quite good and functional. While they are not going to come close to a proper custom frame, I found them to be solidly made (including dropping one without damage). The "glass" is very thin plastic, i guess about 1/16 inch , but it does the job of preventing dust getting on the photo. They do not hold the 8x10 photos flat, but would probably hold them flatter if the mat was used (I was trying to match the look of other photos around the building which are not matted). If I was going to display special "lifetime memories" photos I would get something better, but for some simple decorations at work they work well. ... show more
