Description
Not so long ago, you had to use a machete if you wanted a sip of pure coconut water. We've taken the machete out of the equation, which is good, because those things are dangerous. Now all that's left is mother nature's most hydrating, refreshing, vitamin- and mineral-rich nectar. That means we pick, crack, and pack fresh young coconuts directly at the source. After the coconuts are cleaned, the delicate water inside is flash pasteurized (and occasionally mixed with fruit puree) then poured into a shelf-stable Tetra Pak. We hear the end result is a lot like sticking a straw in a coconut.

A much more satisfying version of coconut water
I've always enjoyed coconut water, but these have become my preferred version. The difference is the small amount of coconut pulp. It doesn't turn the drink into a smoothie or make it difficult to drink, but it adds just enough body and texture to make it feel more substantial than standard coconut water. The flavor benefits as well. It has a more pronounced coconut character and feels closer to drinking from an actual coconut than many of the filtered versions on the market. What I like: * richer coconut flavor * slight texture from the coconut pulp * still refreshing and easy to drink * good alternative to standard coconut water * great for coconut water fans looking for something different If you've tried coconut water before and didn't enjoy it, I'm not sure this will completely change your mind. But if you're already a fan and just want something with a little more character, it's absolutely worth trying. One unexpected use I've found is cooking. I occasionally substitute this for some or all of the water in my rice cooker when making tropical-inspired dishes. The coconut flavor isn't overwhelming, but it adds a subtle background note that pairs particularly well with Caribbean, Southeast Asian, and island-style meals. Overall, this is one of those products that takes a familiar item and makes it just a little better. The added pulp provides enough flavor and texture to set it apart from ordinary coconut water, and after trying it, I find it difficult to go back to the standard versions.

Best drink for POTS!
Good to have in room for POTS (postural othostatic tachycardia syndrome) for when you wake up on the floor when our vasodilators allow blood to fall to legs away from heart. This drink provides electrolytes extremely portable at a great value in bulk. Taste is so much better than those electrolyte powders that taste like flavored salt. The cardboard bottle allows for a service dog or reachy graby to retrieve it.

Surprised but not disappointed at all.
Added an almost tropical flavor to my pre workout mixture. Made it actually quite easier to drink all of it in one quick sitting. Was slightly hesitant. But will be something I probably make a subscription for quite soon and definitely continue to buy.

Great Product - Best By Date Matters !
Great product! To drink directly or even add to coffee. Very healthy nutritious beverage. The "best by" date really really matters. In my opinion, the taste quality of the product noticeably degrades with time. Fresher the better! In this case, the product arrived on time as ordered however it has a Best Buy date of December 2026. At the local store it's March-April 2027. Again, for this product that really matters for taste. So giving the lower star rating simply because of the Best Buy date that came with the delivered product.

Taste is where it's at
GREAT flavor, excellent hydration, much better than the water version. Only down side is delivery times are NOT what they claim. Twice now I have ordered over night and it takes a day or two to recieve from suppliers go figure.
