I bought this robe solely for wearing to shower and immediately after shower because I needed something warm. The robe is terry cloth, and absorbs water perfectly. It fits great above the waist but the material on bottom half does not come together. I am 5’7” 155 lbs and bought size XL. The robe is warm, sleeves long and falls 4” below knees. The fabric tag says 100% Terry cloth, but it has a sticky, staticky feeling like a microfiber cleaning cloth. I washed it before wearing hoping it would wash out, but it feels the same. I do like the style and fit. Wish the fabric felt better.
