I have purchased high-end draperies from retailers such as Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, and honestly, these blackout drapes compare remarkably well — in some ways, I think they look even better. The fabric has the appearance of far more expensive linen drapery, with an elegant, relaxed look that hangs beautifully once installed. The quality exceeded my expectations, especially at this price point. The stitching, weight, and overall finish give them a much more elevated appearance than many drapes I’ve seen at considerably higher prices. I paired them with high-quality drapery hardware and hung them using drapery rings rather than the sewn-in back tabs, which gives them an especially refined and sophisticated appearance. Another major advantage is the range of color choices available. It was easy to find a shade that worked perfectly with my room. I like them so much I'm replacing the drapes in three other rooms with these. For anyone concerned about wrinkles from packaging, I found an easy solution: placing the panels in the dryer on the “steam fresh” setting removed almost all of the wrinkles. Any remaining creases were easily finished off with a handheld steamer (don't forget to steam the front and back to remove creases on both sides!) Most importantly, they truly function as blackout drapes while still maintaining the appearance of upscale linen panels — something that can be surprisingly difficult to find at this price point. My one minor nitpick is that the light gray blackout lining does not create a completely finished appearance when viewed from outside the home. If exterior appearance is especially important to you, that is something worth considering with these — or really with many blackout draperies in general. That said, pairing them with other window coverings such as mini-blinds, roller shades, Roman shades, or shutters would minimize that issue considerably. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for a high-end designer look without the high-end price.

I absolutely love these drapes! I originally went back and forth between a blue and this green because I was trying to coordinate with my upholstered bed, and I’m so glad I chose the green. It’s such a beautiful soft, muted green, not loud or overwhelming at all. It adds just the right amount of color and complements the room perfectly. The pinch pleats are gorgeous and really give these curtains a much more expensive, custom look. The fabric feels substantial and high quality, especially for the price. I’ve had them for a while now, and they’ve held up beautifully with no issues. The blackout lining is excellent! It keeps our bedroom nice and dark for sleeping, but I did learn one thing during installation. I initially used a standard straight curtain rod and realized pretty quickly that light was still coming in around the sides. I switched to a French return rod, and it made all the difference! It creates a true blackout effect by wrapping the curtains back to the wall. These also provide great privacy while still looking elegant. I actually have this same brand in the cream color in another part of my house, and they’ve been just as wonderful. If you’re looking for a lower-budget option that still gives you a high end look, I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with these. We’ve been very happy with them and would absolutely purchase them again.

I purchased one pair: White * Vision Home White Pinch Pleated Full Blackout Curtains Thermal Insulated 90 inch with Hooks, Back Tab. 1 Panel 60"W x 90L. I purchase comes with 2 panels. I spent 8 hours researching blackout curtains. I hope to save you time in your research. You might think these curtains are expensive, but the quality is well worth it. They look luxurious, and they are half the price of others that I was considering. Note: It takes two people to hang these curtains. First of all, I am pleased with the color of white. It almost matches my white wood trim and white ceiling. The color pops against my seafoam green walls. See PHOTO 1. I liked that there was no odor when I opened the box. The curtains were perfectly packed with precise pleats. After the curtains were hung, I steamed them, and the wrinkles easily fell away. PHOTO 1: I had steamed the top half of the curtains, but not the bottom half. The curtains themselves are completely blackout. However, the morning sun shines through the sides and the top. See Photo 2 attached. I placed my curtains six inches from the ceiling. The curtains extend 6 inches to either side of the window. My bedroom is much darker at night, and I am sleeping more deeply, but the sun still wakes me up in the morning. If you desire total blackout, I suggest that you buy a curved curtain rod made for blackout curtains. Hang the curtains at the top of the wall next to the ceiling. I love the tailored look of the pleats. We inserted the hooks that came with the curtains into the back of the pleats. I bought metal clip rings and attached them to the curtain hooks. I needed 24 rings. These curtains weigh 14 pounds, which is fairly heavy. Since I have a nine-foot-wide (108”) window, I needed a sturdy curtain rod. I wanted an additional 6” on either side of the window to pull the curtains past the window, so I needed a total width of 120”. I bought an Ivilon Drapery Rod 120-240” so the rod strength could almost be doubled. It worked great. Ivilon rod: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KYD8BF8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I bought these curtain wands: 2 Pack 36 Inch Universal Drapery Pull Rod Invisible Clear Curtain Wand for Easier Opening and Back (Acrylic, 36"), brand name: Toofn on Amazon. We attached these rods to the two center rings to make the curtains slider easier and to prevent soiling the curtains by touching them. One more thing – be sure to get this: Curtain Drapery Ring Glide Tape on Amazon, Brand SnnShun. Use it to prevent the curtain rings from getting stuck on the curtain rod extensions. Use two or three rows of the tape, and cover the full length of the rod. We used one row of tape which is not sufficient. The rod turns slightly from day to day as I pull the curtains back and forth, and I have to adjust the rod by hand. All in all, I am very pleased with these purchases. These curtains look so nice, and they are a good value, too. It was easy to put them up. Unlike some reviewers noted, they were hardly wrinkled- just the creases where they were folded. After hanging overnight, these are almost unnoticeable. I may use a steamer in a day or two. I love that the lining is also off white instead of gray, and it's very effective as a blackout liner. I like the natural fabric. It is not white or completely ivory, but is a beige with some variations in the fabric that add to the linen feel. I ordered a pair for a single window and four panels for two double windows, and they fit perfectly. There are cheaper ones I researched that get some good reviews, but I think I chose wisely in spending a little more for these very nice curtains. They have the look of custom made ones I have had in the past.

Great value, well made, sturdy, and love the included curtain pins and weights sewn in the hem. But the smell! It’s like plastic or some kind of toxic chemical. Subtle out of the packaging but if you steam to remove the wrinkles it gets worse. Plan to air out your room after you install them. Very noxious.

Absolutely STUNNING! I ordered a different set prior to ordering these and they just weren’t the quality I was looking for. I found these and I am SO happy I ordered them! They’re made with a heavier, much more durable materiel. They’re look and feel high end. The quality is more comparable to a custom drape. They arrived with hooks and the blackout lining is very nice. They’ve got good gold memory and hang perfectly. I’m going to be customizing them for an interior application to close off an office for guests. With a little steaming from right out o the box you can tell there won’t be any wrinkle issues. They are just beautiful. The thickness will provide some noise insulation for quests and block out any light from the rest of the house. Just perfection.
