  • No cue tip
Color: Blue
We wanted a pool cue that would be different than a wood one for our 10 year old grandson. It came without a good cue on the end. We have some ordered now and waiting for those before we can give a really good review.

  • The good, the bad and the ugly... update
Color: Black
So , the good, the cue actually played very well. I had two table runs on my first use. 7 games. My actual first use of this cue, I ran the table with it. Weight is good and cue control was actually really good. The bad, it's not perfectly straight. Actually the ferrul is straight. However, when jointed , it has an obvious curve. The ugly , when delivered the Beauty ring around the joint was completely not glued on and fell off opening the package. So...iafter some good glue...it's a good cue...but just good...it's much better than it's price point... way better than a house cue...100 x better than a house cue...the cue actually way outperformed my expectations! . If you have skills and play with others that do as well..and they are using a more expensive cue, well you're probably going to lose... however, for the price, it's really good..if you're looking for a cue to be more consistent with and will outperform 75% of house cues...well this works really well. The fact that you're playing with you're own cue and playing with the same cue everytime...just by virtue of consistency, you're going to play better... even if it's not perfect ..I was able to get good feel and feedback with it...I like, but I don't love it...for a 30$ price point and if you're used to house cues, you'll love it..I got the plain black one, thinking,it wouldn't draw attention and 5 people in the pool hall I was at,walked up to me and asked me about my plain black stick, while they were all holding much fancier and more expensive sticks...so much for not drawing attention to yourself with a plain black cue...it does have an attractive look and I suppose, being what I would call piano black, maybe draws people's attention,in a day with glits and glam and customizable, being affordable. Never in my life did I think this inexpensive, plain black cue, would draw the attention it did. UPDATE... sometime later playing with a friend, who owns a much more expensive cue. I beat him, then he politely said "let's trade cues" and he beat me me with this generic cue. Ain't that a kicker. I shaped the tip and we both used high end chalk. The thing that kills me , is the darn thing still isn't dead straight, and gets crazy English on the ball. You can totally over play this cue, easily. It's more of a finesse stroke than I ever imagined. Still not my fav. ... show more

  • Awesome cue for the price
Color: Black
I'm impressed by this cue for under $60. I will mention that I had to return the first one I purchased but the second one is straight. The finish on the shaft is matte and very smooth. The weight is all in the butt. The wooden portion is only for the threaded joint insert. The rest feels like aluminum. I'm sure there is some composite in the shaft. I purchased this cue with the hope that it will survive the low humidity better than my maple. I would recommend this cue. ... show more

  • Defective
Color: Maroon
I received the stick in good packaging, however when I joined the two pieces together I noticed it has a warp in it, At the joint, I loosened and retightened, still the same. I had one of these before with no issues. I guess i got a bad one, I am unable to return because I reside outside of the USA.

  • Horrible Quality
Color: Black
I cannot believe this item has as many stars as it does. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. Although it is more inexpensive than other pool sticks, I thought Viper was of good quality and a decent choice. He was thrilled to get it. Used it twice, the butt sleeve splintered. Continued to try to use it, went to break, and the tip went flying off. Bummed, I took it from him to get it replaced because they offer a 1 year limited warranty. Got the next one in very quickly, sent the other one back. Next day, he went to shoot pool and the tip came flying off again. Just upsetting and will not be ordering a 3rd one, only to have something happen again. *eye roll* ... show more

  • Very durable
Color: Blue
We purchased for a Christmas present for our grandson in college. He loves it! He had asked for it as he says many of his friends use their own equipment in their leisure and just what he wanted and needed.

Buy this pool cue. Straight as an arrow ... why pay $300 when this $30 stick is 99% as good. DOWNSIDE? no bragging story other than *VALUE* ...
