I noticed that the joint is out of position and you can feel it. The taper of the shaft is wonky. I have no idea if the joint movement is the cause of this but it definitely affects it's usability. Now customer service is a completely different issue entirely. I've told the manufacture several times I'm not interested in a refund I would like a replacement. Due to the fact that I bought it on sale they will not replace the item. I would not recommend this item or this company.

I am very pleased with this cue. It has a solid hit and the shaft deflects very little. That said, the cue is a bit butt heavy for my taste. The shaft is lighter than the shaft on my traditional cue, meaning the balance point is further back toward the butt of the cue. To compensate, I find myself gripping the cue at the very back of the wrap. I can grip the cue a bit further forward using a closed bridge, but when I use an open bridge, the cue tip has a tendency to rise during the stroke unless I grip much further back. Looking at some pool videos, I see that most players using carbon shafts seem to grip further back, so maybe the new technology has changed the game. Finally, I didn't care for the tip (too hard) but that's a matter of personal preference. I would say you won't find a better playing cue anywhere near this price point. Good cue, good value.
