This isn't a top of the line cue, under any circumstances. I bought 2 of these, one for me (intermediate level) and one for my girl (novice). I was pleasantly surprised with mine. I got it in brown, and it was nice to see it was naturally stained wood, not a decal unlike many other lower end cues. I actually love the way it looks. If I didn't know any better, I would have guessed this cue to be priced much higher. If you have the money to spend on higher end cue, do that. If your budget is <150, you can't go wrong with this one. Take the difference and buy a good case for it, because this cue is worth it. It feels and looks much better than my Rage and Viking cues that cost much more. ... show more

It looks like in the photos, even a little better in person, the finish is very good it only has some small details in the lower parts I give it 9/10 but it is a good cue for people who are just starting out or who have more knowledge.
