I didn't really know what to expect as far as the assembly, but if you've ever put ANY kind of furniture together, this is a piece of cake. The instructions are basically illustrations of the steps needed to complete this assembly successfully, and all you need is a basic knowledge of mechanics and physics. Once you gather all of your pieces and parts, you can hit the ground running with the assembly. Although it recommends to have a second person to aid in the assembly, one sober person is plenty fine. Depending on who is helping you, they may have more questions to slow you down, but being able to teach others is also fun. Don't be in a rush to get this done. Once this rack was assembled and I put clothes and things on it, it became really stable and sturdy. It comes with wall anchors which aren't a bad idea to install, but legs have levelers to give the unit a lean towards the wall, to aid in not allowing an accidental tip over to occur. A lean to the wall, in conjunction with the wall anchors, will make it ALMOST impossible for an accidental tip over to occur... almost. In conclusion, this unit is as sturdy as needed for a small wardrobe, shoes and other miscellaneous items. It is very easy to assemble but my only con to this item s the price point. A $50 to $75 price point, in my opinion, would have been very reasonable. $130 bucks, not so much... ... show more
