This is my first pair of vionic shoes for me. I have suffered with plantar fasciatis in the past few years and doctor gave me a few choices for footwear. This was one that was recommended. I purchased these for a summer wedding. They worked perfectly....no break in period. They are lovely and I really like the velcro straps. I didn't think I would however I found out that they are actually a great addition. Sometimes in the summer feet can swell a little bit more in the humidity....I can change how tightly I place these on my feet. They are very comfortably as well as stylish. The reason for the 4 stars is that the straps feel a bit cheap, and are not as soft as I would have liked for this price point. That being said, they were not uncomfortable and did not cut into the top of my foot. The footbed has a decent arch, and is soft to stand in. I bought these sandals for a trip to Europe. It was a great choice! I bought and returned several pairs sandals before I found these. These sandals looked cute with my outfits. I’m 60, so my idea of cute and a 20 year old’s idea of cute are two different things, LOL. They were very comfortable while walking around Croatia and Switzerland. I walked on all kinds surfaces with no problems. They have 3 velcro straps and I was able to easily adjust them to fit my foot perfectly. They are true to size. Update May 6: I purchased shoes March 25 & back heel strap is about ready to fall off due to poor stitching! I emailed (no response) then called. I own 6? pairs of vionics so this is probably my 7th & last pair. After being on hold for 20 minutes I was told they can send me a form in 1-2 days in order to mail back shoes & I MAY get the full amount refund or partial amount. But I will have to be without shoes until then. Or I can pay out more money to have them repaired. Once I was allow d to fit into shoe, I found none of my shoes were comfortable bc foot was still too swollen. Velcro on all straps works perfectly for post surgery support plus the orthopedic support-my foot doctor approved them when I showed him. I plan to wear to work when I start back Monday. ... show more
