If you have a very high arch as I do, the arch hill isn't as high as some of the other platform sandals, but not as low as the cheaper, flatter styles. So it's medium, which is all right for a dressier summer sandal. Same for the microfiber/suede footbed: it's better not to wear it all the time because it gets dirty and is not so easy to clean. I usually took a 9 in a sandal, a 10 in a closed shoe, but I've been finding a 9-1/2 in a sandal is better because it gives me more room for the top of my foot as that area tends to swell in warm weather nowadays. ... show more

I purchased these in March 2025 and the material that covers the footbed is already coming off. I wear them a lot but I’m shocked that they aren’t holding up. I’m not doing anything crazy that would make the material flake off. I mostly wear them in the house and around town. Not worth the money. I’ve had other shoes from this brand without any issues. Update: contacted Vionic customer service via email to ask for replacement or refund. Took 5 days for an email response. It should have contained a defective return form but none was attached. She said that they were seeing it on my end and they could send another one but it would take 5 to 10 business days! Like it could have been sent while we were talking as opposed to explaining it to me 3 times and I’m the idiot that can’t get an attachment from an email (I’m an IT tech) ... show more

The toe post on these is very stiff. I can tell if I wore them I’d have blisters by the end of the day! They also seemed too heavy and cumbersome on-makes me very sad bc Ive liked them. Back they go!

The Vionic footbed is what makes me buy this brand. My arches are snug and secure. This particular shoe is stylish and comfortable. After reading reviews, I can totally understand why some have an issue with the toe stop and straps rubbing, but in my case, it all works well. I am a diehard flip flop wearer, so perhaps my feet accommodate different styles. I am just so grateful that I now have a pair that can be dressed up or down. Vionic quality I’ve come to know and love, but in a sandal! These have the same footbed and fit as the loafers. (Pic for comparison) PRO: These are fantastic for my sore heels, achy arches, and middle age ailments. As a teacher, I spend endless hours standing on concrete and tile but these don’t cause heel pain. Good arch support. Soft suede. Looks very nice, sophisticated while comfy. CON: only one. They’re heavy. I wouldn’t want to walk any real distance in them due to the weight, which is really unfortunate because I was hoping these could be my next travel sandals. ... show more

I’ve been buying Vionic flip flops since Incan recall. Mostly on Amazon a couple pairs a year. They are always like walking on a cloud, when I get a new pair they instantly relieve foot discomfort. I love Vionic. These cause terrible foot pain. My old worn out pairs are still 100 times more comfortable. Sending them back. They hurt foot top, bottom, all over poor design. The sizing is also off. I always buy 8.5 but these are weirdly long beyond my toes but perfect diving at the back. Go traditional Vionic these are painful. ... show more
