I have worn these all winter as my everyday boot and am very happy with the purchase. In general, I need shoes that both provide arch support and a sturdy sole since I overpronate when I walk. These were great for both. I was concerned with no zipper they would be hard to take on and off but it has been the opposite. They slip right on and off. I see some reviews stating they are narrow but to me, I appreciate that it is not a big bulky boot. I can wear these running errands and going out at night. And I am very happy with the grey color for something different. Vionic is consistently a quality brand and my usual go to for dress shoes.     • No half sizes above size 10
Solid boot with pronounced arch support (which I love). Grippy appearing sole that seems like it would work for rain/snow and possibly oily conditions. However, I ordered 2 pairs - one size 10 and one size 11 - knowing that there's a possibility these run narrow, and I'm a solid 10.5. If I add an orthotic, I might be able to do a size 11. These don't need an orthotic, so the 11 wasn't any option. The 10's were a bit short with a snugness in width that would probably break-in over time. (I have a medium+ width foot.) Sadly, I can't gamble on a $160 pair of boots when I walk so much at work in them. These would have been a great contender, and addition to my uniform. Without half sizes though, it's a no. Sidenote: The first pair showed up in a plastic Amazon bag, no shipping box. The materials inside clearly say that there's a 10% restocking fee (not shown on Amazon) and that the boots-box, is supposed to be shipped in another box. That didn't happen. I'm curious to see if there's any ramifications for this. The second pair was shipped properly but didn't have the 10% threat. So far, my return directions and amounts are as expected. ... show more

    • Very nice but very long and narrow
I wanted this boot to work so badly. The low heel and the weather resistance were such attractive features, but the boots came and they are very very long and very very narrow. I technically am a size 8 women’s on the wider side. So I ordered an 8.5 which is my typical size. There was zero midfoot room so I took out the inserts which are very supportive but very thick. The boots felt wayyy too long. I ordered the size 8 and still felt very long and narrow. So sad. I bet for the right foot these are amazing!! ... show more

I'm in love with these incredibly comfortable boots. They have great arch support and a soft, slightly cushioned footbed. Like most Vionics, they are comfy from the first time you wear them. These ankle boots look even better than they do in photos. After reading the reviews about fit, I did the “try before you buy” with my normal size 7.5 and an 8. The 8 was too loose and I felt my heel slipping as I walked while trying them on, so I returned them and kept the 7.5. I got the brown ones. They’re nice and supportive. No heel pain, arch pain, or knee pain after wearing them for a few hours. Love them. Now I wish I hadn’t waited so long to order them. ... show more
