My daughter had taken a break from regular violin playing and this set was perfect to help her get the instrument back in shape. She was familiar with how to use everything except the liquid rosin, but that was easy to figure out. It's very nice to have everything in one case - the zippered case is great.

There were no instructions to clean violin. You have to read the bottle label which is to small to read, I had to take a picture and enlarge to read it.

This is a really comprehensive kit. We have a lot of different stringed instruments in our house, my favorite one being an antique cello. I didn't even know about the existence of half of these products. I've only known of rosin cakes and had never tried liquid rosin before! I'm glad this is so extensive. I wish there were some instructions though. But in this day and age it's easy enough to look things up. It comes in a case, and each thing has a place in the case, which is fantastic. I'm keeping this for us, because we need it with so many stringed instruments. But this would be a good gift for any kind of stringed instrument player, not just a violinist. I am not sure if I'll need anything more, for the rest of my life, that's how much is in here!

As an owner of a number of stringed instruments, I selected this set to bring them up to a reasonable standard. This kit is definitely complete. It even goes beyond expectations. I thought it might work OK for a few of the parts and the others would be substandard, but that is not the case. All the components are high quality and work as well or better than similar products on the market. For example, the musical instrument polish works better than the Super-Sensitive polish I previously used. It is a clear almost water-like spray with a nice, pleasant scent. The Super-Sensitive polish is opaque and requires more effort to buff and polish while leaving a funky smell. The beeswax is also good and a little seems to go a long way. I applied some to my double bass and was impressed by the results and shiny appearance. My children also cleaned up their instruments (viola and cello) with this kit. We did not use the liquid rosin, maybe we'll try it, but have been happy with our cake rosins.

This a review for Violin Cleaner Care Cleaning Kit,Maintenance Kit,Beeswax,Liquid Rosin,Rosin Remover,String Oil,Polish,Violin Humidifier,Violin String Brush,Cleaning Clot.. Even though I am sure it works with other items than just the violin, I used it to clean one. This comes with more than you will ever need to do a proper cleaning. The rest is just the cherry on top. I only used 3 of the items and my violin is cleaned better than I ever cleaned it in the past. Maybe once I can learn a little more about the other substances, I will feel more confident in applying them to my expensive instrument but for now, I am more than pleased with the results. It will make a great gift for anyone that loves their violin.

Review for “Violin Cleaner Care Cleaning Kit,Maintenance Kit,Beeswax,Liquid Rosin,Rosin Remover,String Oil,Polish,Violin Humidifier,Violin String Brush,Cleaning Clot.” No instructions come with the kit, unfortunately, so I collected together information about the items enclosed and have posted it here: -Liquid Rosin: Liquid dust free rosin is mainly used to increase friction between the bow and the string to ensure the timbre of the instrument. “Liquid Rosin: increases the friction between the bow and strings to ensure the tone, which can make the instrument sound sensitive, clean and transparent when playing and reduce noise.” Use the brush to smear evenly on the bow hair, smear evenly and wait for the liquid to cure before playing. Keep below 40C. If necessary, can be rewarmed by letting closed bottle sit in a glass of warm water. -Rosin remover: Used to remove rosin that has gotten on the body of the violin. Apply some rosin remover to the purple cleaning cloth and wipe off the residual rosin powder that has gotten on the body of the violin. If the rosin amount is large, has been on the violin for a while, or has been there long enough to attract dirt, then gently scrape off the excess rosin before using the rosin remover to remove the rest. -Musical Instrument Polish: Shake well, then evenly spray onto purple cloth. Gently wipe the surface of the wooden musical instrument’s body. The use a clean cloth to remove any excess product, and polish the wood. -String Oil: Used to help avoid rusting and corrosion of strings, avoid excess noise when playing, eliminate friction, speed up playing speed, and improve the life and tone of strings. A little bit of this goes a long way. Apply sparingly to top of strings, let dry, then wipe off excess. -Wood Beeswax Polish: “Beeswax: increases the texture of wooden instruments, polishes the surface luster, plays a maintenance role in preventing moisture and cracks to the instruments, and can maintain the natural luster of the instruments for a long time.” Get an appropriate amount of beeswax on the wooden musical instrument with a cleaning cloth. Evenly smear the surface of the instrument with the beeswax. As the beeswax dries, use a clean cloth to polish the surface and ensure an even coating. -Violin Humidifier: 1. Immerse the humidifier in water. Remove the sponge after it has absorbed all the water, squeeze out the excess water and wipe the water from the surface of the humidifier. 2. Insert the humidifier into the inside of the violin body through the F hole, and the humidifier will naturally evaporate water slowly, humidifying the violin from the inside out. Hope this helps!
