So I got this for my cello student to use since the previous stopper we had didn't grip anymore bc of our wooden floors. This one works great! Just place a chair leg on it and ready to go. This endpin anchor is a good value. The anchor piece is large so it would fit most instruments. The D ring is solid metal, so it is dependable to set a chair on. The strap is wide and sturdy, and can be adjusted to various lengths. The shortfall here is that the strap can only be shortened so much, but in most cases it should be sufficient. In my case I had hoped I could have shortened it a little more. One other bonus is that the anchor piece is layered with foam on the bottom to help protect floors and provide a little grip. I needed this in a hurry, so did not take the time to read the full description before buying this pin strap. I've been playing cello for decades, then lost mine. I'm impressed with not only the quality and price of the pin strap, but with the included polishing cloth that came with it.

    • Slips out form under chair keg too easily
This doesn’t stay in place well under chair leg. It slips out too easily. Wouldn’t buy again, but good to have something in my case as a back up. I can probably figure out something to make it more workable, but it does make me wonder if anyone tested the design.

    • Almost what I was looking for
The only problem with this rock stop was that the ring was too small for my grandson's bench leg. I found a larger ring and put it on the strap and it works great. After setting the strap to the right length , it is perfect. Quick set up and no more slipping cello.
