The vinyl siding removal tool by AINTXT from the DMMBMFC store is a good option to consider for this use. I have been wanting and needing one for a while. So, I thought I would try this one out, but recognize that I do not have anything to compare it against. The tool descriptions indicate a one-piece steel blade and non-slip rubber handle which are accurate. Most importantly, it works as expected for removing/installing vinyl siding. The steel blade does seem sturdy and should hold up under normal use. The handle does have a slight rubber feel to it which is better than a hard plastic feel. Note that this review does not account for the price of this tool vs. other comparable products.

The vinyl siding tool works pretty well. There's not much to it. It's a rubber-coated handle with a steel "blade" that slides under siding and helps unhook / detach it. It's not particularly interesting -- it just works exactly the way it's supposed to and doesn't require a great deal of instruction or study. So… it's a good tool. No complaints.

It can be frustrating trying to get siding to pop out of its channel, once you get it going, it's a snap. This tool can be handy with that process. - Just the right size for your hand and to get adequate leverage. - Metal prong is sturdy and doesn't bend easily, so It can be forceful in encouraging the siding to snap out of its channel - I like the feel of the tool, it is not a hard plastic, but has more of a rubber feel to it. - Priced right. I wouldn't encourage the purchase if it was expensive, because other tools are probably in your toolbox that could do the job. But because it is inexpensive I would purchase it if you need to remove siding frequently.
