I couldn't wait to get a tip that makes my roofing DeWalt nail gun into my battery siding nail gun. And this was the tip I thought to try first. I thought it was a quick easy thing to make my nail gun ready for siding and it sure was not quick and easy...It comes with no instructions at all. And even when you know what needs to happen it is not fun switching the tip out all the way like you have to do with this style of siding conversation tip. I did get everything figured out and was nailing siding for almost 1 and a half days of siding work and thought it was the best and thought it worked so well and made my work so much faster and easier I actually thought how hard it is to switch the tip to use it is well worth it. And of course halfway into shift number 2 this tip split right in half flying past my head after firing a nail and thinking what the hell was that. And when I went to do my next nail I saw what it was my fancy tip that took me an hour to get on and adjust everything just right is done already. I'm happy to say I have one now that is working great going strong and very simple to switch on and off my nail gun. Because I found a way easier to use and even way smoother feel while shooting nails tip for siding use and it's my regular tip that came on my gun with a 25$ slip on tip attachments for siding conversation. And I'm done switching tips for switching from roofing sto siding use just grab the tip from cup holder in van and push it on and enjoy. So if you are wanting a tip for siding work I strongly recommend the slip on the stock tip kind and avoid switching tips out all the way unnecessarily ... show more

I like the idea and works fine until breaks . Mine broke after installing 8 rows of vinyl siding.

I give it a 3 cause they are great to use when putting siding on the idea behind these is awesome. Easy to put in the gun. But they break very easily I bought four of them each time I use them they break

This worked fantastic and broke about 10 pieces in. But it’s so helpful that I just bought two more to finish the job. Install is super easy if you watch the youtube video scan QR code.

It works great but it's not a very durable piece. It cannot take a hit if you accintly drop the gun. Im already replacing my original purchase!

Bought this item even though the ratings were poor. Used to install vinyl siding on a Habitat for Humanity house. Worked great for two thirds of the job, then broke as many other raters noted.
