I bought this to recover from my hysterectomy surgery in, as robes were highly recommended. This is so soft and I have practically lived in it since my surgery. A hugely understated detail about this robe is that the tie on the back is sewn on!!! That is a huge plus as with other robes they gwt tagnled in the wash or I drop them and seeing that I can't bend to pick them up it doesn't work. But this robe I dont have to worry about the ties because they are right there. Did i mention this is ine of the softest most comfortable materials I have found. I even ordered a second one in the chetta print because I love this robe so much and it has been a godsend in my recovery. I have no complaints only the highest praise! I ordered the 2xl only so it would fit lose I didn't want anything tight alothough an xl would have worked fine for my size also. ... show more

This is a full length robe that is lightweight to wear, has a security tie on the inside, the long ties are sewn down on the back to keep them in place and also flatter the figure of the wearer, and the robe provides ample material for decreet coverage in a multitude of situations. The fabric take a chill off, and doesn't over heat. I chose a darker color with a mulicolored pattern for added discretion and ability to wear it in more sitautions. I am very pleased with how well the robe laundered. I used cold delicate settings. I placed my robe into a large lingerie bag and added it to the wash with other lightweight multicolored items. The main reason was to keep all of garment in one place, rather than the ties wrapping around other garments and coming out as a big knot of wet clothes. This worked perfectly. To avoid this happening in the dryer, I chose to hang dry my rob on a nicely shaped sturdy hanger. Draping the robe over a garment rack would have been another way to achieve this. This robe dried quickly while on the hanger inside the warm laundry room. i've purchase a half dozen robes over the last 10 years and none have suited me. Not as advertised...there is no Cotton in this fabric, the content on the garment tag is 95% Rayon, 5% Spandex. The advertised content was 40% Cotton, 50% Rayon, 5% Spandex. Material was thinner than expected, although it fit well and was comfortable, I was specifically wanting a breathable cotton for Florida weather. Returned this item. ... show more

Absolutely thrilled at exactly what I wanted. A lightweight robe. I ordered at least a size if not 2 sizes larger than what I’d normally buy but that’s because I wanted this thing to wrap around me like I’m a kid wearing dad’s robe. Only this magnificent material would’ve worked since it’s not clingy like that 80% rayon blend with different color trim I just returned and crossed my fingers that this robe would be the material as stated which I’ve learned not to take for granted in ordering some of these items from Amazon. It says 60% cotton 40% rayon but it sure feels like more cotton less rayon but it does hang well from that slightly heavier material and NO POLYESTER!! Scratchy knit that overheats me one minute and freezes me the next. None of that. Because what we receive sometimes differs from the description I’ve come to rely on you guys an read hours or reviews before buying. I’m not organized at all but I’m patient and you help me make my mind up. Especially “oh go ahead and buy it now!” That usually works and I pray it’s not some plant from the manufacturers because I believe it. Your comments give me the real scoop so it’s about time I returned the favor and helped someone decide who’s sitting in the fence Like i am usually. I wasn’t sure about this robe because there were a few people who said ‘cheap’. Well in White XXL it’s anything but cheap looking and so completely lovable to my skin ... so buy it. I don’t know about other colors. I used to duplicate what I liked in additional shades but found not only are the sizes and even fabric not necessarily the same but I end up reaching for the original one I purchased Oh I’m 5’4” and weigh more than I ever have at 165 lbs and suddenly bigger just below breast area signs of age 65? Ugh. I hope to lose this but in the meantime I stick to things that hide it best. This robe does as do the brand elouker (sp?) short sleeved long cotton lounge dresses that have a pleat down the center of the back small V-neck and come in 15 shades including pin stripe. The brand that runs 70% cotton is the best and I take a size L in these (they’re so flattering ... I’ll write a review on those if I haven’t.) Your reviews on canvas sneakers where the sizes are are whacko helped so much that I gambled buying a pair as a Christmas gift for my sister. 🤞 sure enough they’re just as NOT marked but comments from you guys warned me accurately .
