This was super easy to put together. The only negative is that you see those metal brackets on the front. We are going to paint our black so that will not matter. We secured ours to our fence. It would have been fine free standing. But I like the extras security of screwing it to the fence and I wanted it to decorate the back gate to our yard. All in all. We love it. The cost was reasonable and it was so easy to assemble. Will it last forever. No. But it will probably last several years at least.

Easy to assemble, if you're thinking about an arbor this is a good one! I put this one in front of a west facing window. I'm going to grow bottle & Dipper gourds this year and Roses thereafter. Maybe some ornamental kiwi! I attached it to the siding with L brackets for stability, I also put it up on cinder blocks so I don't have to worry about wood rot. Get it before the price goes up.

We bought this as a nice decoration touch for our garden. But it came with some flaws: - has no anchors: this is going to be standing outdoors, anchors are essential, so I had to buy anchoring kid additional and this is not mentioned on the product details. - the wood finish is rustic, which is ok, but MOLD on it isn’t, so be prepared and handle this outside and wear mask, gloves if you buy this. - one of the pieces came GLUED!, this is not right, I have assembled many pieces of furniture and I k ow when something is not correct on these kind of things, the glued wood on the arc probably was due to a mistaken cut, replace the part! Don’t sell it, I had to reinforce that piece. - the wood came with minor splints out, I’ve seen worse before, and I acknowledge this is not kids toy wood grade, but sloppy finish on the wood isn’t nice. After bypassing all these inconveniences the arbor looks nice in our garden, but it needs extra work to get it nicely done, if you are. It handy with wood, this may not be for you. Bit pricey for tue quality you will get.
