It's pretty. I live in Florida and I used to have a cement bird bath but a hurricane slammed a tree down on it and my patio table and fence. It looks like Copper but its light weight plastic. The birds use this a whole lot more then they did my cement one. Itty bitty little birds, cardinals blue jays mockingbirds and lots of birds I can't identify.Squirrels love it too. I think the difference is in the little holes around the rim that that they use to hold onto while they drink. Because its plastic I put it in the shade so the sun can't beat down on it and dry it out and crack it. I also put far back enough to give the bird a feeling of safety. It's cheap and flimsy but it was only $28. I weigh it down with a pretty rock. it's beautiful and so much easier to clean then the cement one. The cement ones were so much more expensive and some critter would knock the bowl of onto the ground and crack or break the bowl at least once ayear. Every year I would end up buying a new one and they were ugly, hard to clean, heavy, prone to slimy mold,,and didn't get a lot of birds. If the heat cracks this for 28 bucks I will just get another one. Ive never seen so many birds and it always sounds so pretty in my yard. I was averaging one a year with the cement ones. If you purchase this do not expect a Mercedes. But for the price and all the variety of birds it attract I love it. Update Nov 3 2023. Bird Bath still looks good. Nice looking product, it's been in my front yard for while and still looks great. if you need a nice looking bird bath this will do the job with out costing alot.

I liked that it was easy to put together. I purchased some extra large soil staples and used that to anchor the base, as well a filling the "stem" with gravel. That part has held up well, but, unfortunately, it didn't make it all the way through the winter without cracking the bowl. I now know that I need to empty and remove the bowl when it's going to freeze. Kind of sad, because I was hoping to leave it out year round for my avian residents. I can't manage a concrete one, and I haven't found a metal one that I like, so I guess I'll order a replacement. At least it's not ridiculously expensive, and I'm hoping to be able to screw the new bowl on the existing base so that I don't have to reinstall the whole thing. ... show more

This bird bath is my new favorite thing. It looks like copper but is hard plastic and easy to assemble. I love watching it from the window. When full sun hits it it really shoots a stream of water. In the shade it just putters but I still love it. Have noticed hummingbirds around it. Bought my sister one for her new house. Can’t wait to give it to her. ... show more

This is exactly what I wanted for my small patio. It was easily put together, is light weight but sturdy, & eye-pleasing. The only negative I've found, so far, is the bowl will not screw on evenly, tilting the water as much as 2", so the smaller birds can't reach the water, to drink, on one side but would drown if bathing on the other side. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Had been looking for a medium-sized water bath that didn’t require a constant water source due to a lack outlets. This bath was easy to put together and easy to fill with a hose. Not super stable, so I’ve had to use some bricks in the yard to keep it from falling.
