It assembled very easily. Light is cool at night. The stakes that hold it to the ground may not be enough to support it if you live in a highly windy area like I do. Also, there is no drainage plug for the water basin so you have to dump it out. Both these mild drawbacks could easily be solved a number of ways so it doesn’t effect my overall 5 star review. ... show more

I've had mine a little less than a year. It has withstood some pretty severe weather/winds. However, that being said, it now leaks. I've taken it apart and reassembled in hopes it would fix the issue. No luck. Waiting on some waterproof sealant in hopes that will do the trick. Really expected this to last longer. And solar light had never worked. I think I will go with a different manufacturer on the next one if the sealant doesn't work. If you can afford to spend $50 on something that may not last a full year, then buy it. It really is pretty once put together. ... show more

It is big looks ok. The base is NOT sand or water fillable to make it sturdy as stated in it's advertising. I am supposedly getting a new one send that is fillable for sturdiness. We shall see.

Overall, it is a cute little birdbath. It's pretty lightweight. We did put a little plastic planter water tray in the feeder section because the sides are open and the feed kept falling into the water. The light is soft and not real bright, just a little accent. The smaller birds in our yard love it, some even hop right in to the feeder section. It's entertaining watching the bigger blackbirds try to land and get to the feed. We've had a pair of cardinals visit and they are so pretty to watch. I like that flowers can be planted in the base. We are happy with it! ... show more
