Received my cue finally today. Was concerned with other reviews about it but saw tons of good reviews for performance of the cue. I was hoping I’d get a cherry without any defects but right out of the box and wrap I noticed a small nick in the back half of the cue. Other than that, no damage was found. No shipping damage either. It looks great otherwise with the black and red combination. Feels good and balanced. And should travel pretty easy. I used this cue for about 10 minutes, a piece flaked off the handle. It's right where I grip it, there was absolutely no contact with anything that could have caused this. I have an old MizeraK I bought 10 years ago for about $70 less and the handle for that one is still in perfect shape. I used it to break, so there were no hard hits that could have actually caused this damage. I'm very disappointed and really expected more out of valhalla. Aside from that, the tip needs a lot of work to shape it and get it to the correct texture. It's a very soft tip. ... show more

Comes with a good tip even though I ordered a spare Kamui soft tip. The shaft has a very smooth finish and does not stick regardless of what bridge I use. The blood spatter pattern is even more dope than the online picks showed. Very happy with my purchase
