Love this Viking cue. Well balanced, good tip thats shaped properly. Feels good and shoots great. But it came with some marks on it and the shaft wasn't smooth. I had to hit it with some scotch brite then some 2000 grit to get it smooth. The marks are very small and don't affect shooting. It came in plastic and inside a thick cardboard tube so I know the damage wasn't done during shipping. It happened where ever the cue was packaged. Kinda bummed. I spent over $100 on it and it's marked up already and had to put work into it to smooth it out. Not what I expected from such a reputable company. Everyone kept telling me get a Viking cue they're the best. Maybe I expected to much from a $120 cue? Don't expect anything just wanted to let people know this may be what you get. ... show more

I’ve had a pool table for years, played casually for even longer. I recently decided to purchase cues that weren’t “house” cues. I decided on the Valhalla 100 to start, ordered 4, all different weights. Over the last couple weeks using them, granted I have not played against anyone, my shots have become more consistent…I generally practice for about a hour a day, more on the weekends. I’m enthused enough about the quality and control with these cues that I will be ordering higher end Viking cues very soon…my soon to be brother in law is coming to town, and I want to keep my streak against him alive. It’s different for every player, personally I use the 21 ounce for breaking, 19 for shooting, 18 if it’s a tough shot. I play at home, practice, against family and friends, sometimes on a night out, never played a tournament or anything, but I’m thinking I should enter something local to start, I really like these cues. ... show more
