Never had a problem with sand but on this trip after the beach, I didn’t want to have a bunch in the car. I ordered these and put them on from the car and walked to the beach/used them while on the beach. These things keep the sand out! Not a fan of the old school water shoes but these are well worth it. I’d go a size up if I were you. Very comfortable, clean off easy at the washing station and dry fast with no awful smell after. They also don’t burn when you walk on asphalt-although you will feel an increase in heat. For best use for the beach-I recommend wearing the shoes of your choice until you park the car, put these bad boys on and leave them. Wash them off at the washing station at the end, then put your shoes of choice back on. Lay them out to dry when you get back to your living space. 10/10. Will not go to the beach without them in the future. Also take up very minimal space to pack. Buy them!

THESE ARE THE BEST. Soft, comfortable material that fits and forms to your feet. Great gripping on the bottom. I have 3 pairs of other water shoes and they rub and give blisters but not these. You can’t beat the price. I went on a trip and wore these all the time on the boat as they were so comfortable and they had great traction.

I bought these to wear while doing physical therapy in the pool. They provide good traction. They are very soft, lightweight and comfy, and they match my red/black swimsuit. I ordered my normal size, and they fit well. They dry quickly too.

I bought 4 pairs of these shoes, one for each member of the family as we spend most of our Summers on the water. These shoes are great for comfort and protection. The rubber bottoms are thick enough to protect from the elements but flexible enough to be able to move around comfortable. I am rating lower because after one wear the insoles began to come loose and folded over on top of themselves. We are still using the shoes but they are no longer comfortable and we have to fight with the insoles in order to get them on without it bunching up inside.

I've been working in my yard and on my pool the last couple of months, and while I use my old pair of tennis shoes for mowing the grass, I really don't want to wear those muddy, grassy things longer than I have to. I also don't want to muck up my work shoes, and sometimes I don't want to wear shoes at all but need some grip or protection from heat on my feet. So, I bought a pair of these. They are perfect for working in the pool, on the patio and deck, and even just as house shoes for chores where you need a little grip or don't want to stand on hot concrete barefoot. They're zero drop and have light, thin soles that make them very flexible. I normally wear a 7.5, and the 7.5 fit perfectly. I probably wouldn't go on a hike or jog in them - though they could definitely work for "barefoot running" if you're into that, but as water shoes at the beach or pool or around the house they're perfect, and definitely worth the little amount of money they cost. They're pretty thin, but they feel durable. I'll update my review if that changes.

These fit perfectly. I'm going to wear these around the house instead of warmer slippers. Sturdy bottoms so I don't feel I'm just walking on the floor. Easy to put on. Very comfortable. Would definitely buy again.
