I apparently have the size/shape foot they do not fit well. I do not think it is poor design, simply didnt work well for me. I am in the 1/2 size of the range for the shoe, a women’s 9.5, falling in the 9-10 range. I have a good wide forefoot, average arch, average-large women’s heel. The shoe was super easy to get on but also for it to slide off. Not sure I will buy in a smaller size as then it might be too tight, so will try another style of water shoe. I wore these on different style of beaches, fine sand to pea pebble to rocky. It did fine on the sand and pea pebble but rocky they slide too much. Once I was in the water (flat ocean harbor, low to moderate waves ocean, lake, river) as they didnt fit well they did slip around on my foot. The ocean waves I felt would pull them off so I limited my time in the ocean. Had I not been worried about what my feet would touch down on, I would have throw them back to shore. They are even more important in lake & rivers, worried about garbage people throw in, broken bottles, fishing hooks, etc. Noticed the lake and river mud could pull them off more easily. Again some would be addressed with better fit but some I felt was the weakness of the shoe. So if you are more adventurous and needing something to handle rock scrambles, different risk factors in terrain and debris, you might look elsewhere. If you are sticking to groomed calm beaches without turbulent waves, then these are great if they fit.

These water shoes fit true to size and are very light weight. They are thick enough to walk in the ocean over sharper rocks / uneven footing but light enough to not weigh you down in the water. They dry very quickly being light weight and the sole of the shoe is sturdy and solid (I don't feel like the wrong rock is going to punch a hole through it while walking through the ocean waters) These are a must when traveling or entering waters where you cannot always see the bottom (avoiding sting rays, sharp rocks, sea urchins, ect) The texture of the shoe is more like a wet suit and fits snug to your feet but not too tight. I found that they fit true to size and loved all of the different pattern and color combinations to pick from. Overall I am very happy with these water shoes and they have traveled with us on vacation to Mexico 4 - 5 times and have held up so far. You may be able to slip a snorkel fin over them, but the bottle does have some thickness to them, we have not taken this approach.

I wore these to Hawaii to walk from the hotel room to the beach. In the water they protected my feet from the sharp rocks that were bothering other people. They worked perfectly for that. We played in some pretty big waves and these did come off a couple of times. Luckily, they floated so it wasn’t a huge issue. I might try the ones that look like socks next time for comparison, but these were great for walking around and really saved my feet from scrapes.

I bought them to wear over my prosthetic drypro to protect from water. But they did work for that. The drypro foot is like 15" and it does shrink enough to fit. I only wear ladies 6 1/2. I did try it for the showers in the campground and it was great for my real foot.

For the price, they are great. Easy on and off. However, the soles are super thin, so I wouldn't plan on traversing any jagged rocks by the shore with them. Totally fine for sand or smoother rocks.

These don't look like much when they come out of the packaging. I thought they looked cheap compared to the other water shoes I have bought in the past. I didn't think they would last at all. In reality, the material is very nice, soft and stretchy, so they are super comfortable. You feel like you have naked feet, but you're wearing these shoes. They lasted too. I wear them on my water days when I have to walk the rows of my vineyard to find where the moles have dug a hole in the ground and are draining the water from my vines. They protect my feet, and they usually stay on when I sink into the mud. To be fair, my boots and my other water shoes can also come off depending on how much suction is in the mud. My rubber boots get sediment in them, which rubs against my ankles or shins leaving a rash, and other water shoes from a sports store had soles that fell off. That could be from the 100 degree temperatures or putting my foot on a shovel to fill in the holes, but still shoes shouldn't lose their soles. I wasn't happy with the price of $12.55, but I was impressed with how well these held up and will be using them again this season.

For yoga these babies are perfect for keeping your balance. I’m the pool… beware of tile! They will nearly make you lose your life if you’re not careful. So just be wary of tiles at the pool and you’re good to go 👍🏻

Here in the bay there are a tremendous amount of jellyfish in the water, they have been on my feet, and I have not been stung. We are loving them highly recommend them if you’re going into an area that is infested by the jellyfish.
