I would highly recommend this kind of shoes for those who are going camping or on vacation near water with rocky beaches. These ones are very comfortable even for my picky daughter. She is very sensitive about what shoes go on her feet, but these she did not complain about at all. For reference, she normally wears size 12. They are lightweight and feel like slippers, but at the same time, the bottoms are still thick, almost like regular shoes, which should make them last much longer and not rip from rocks. The Velcro closure is super convenient and makes it very fast to put them on.

After one use, the shoes began to fall apart. My son may get 3 swim days out of them before they go in the trash. Don’t waste your money.

I love that my sons feet are protected from scraps, cuts and scratches. He likes them too. I think they give him the sensation of sure footedness when he’s in the pool. However they are prone to snags. But so are swim suits, when rubbed against the pool wall or beach sand filled with shells. So snagging is to be expected. They are inexpensive and they protect my sons feet. Which is exactly what they were designed to do.

Cute water shoe, good stretch and does the job of keeping little feet from touching the hot asphalt or sand. But does not stay on once in the water. Pool fared better than ocean, but any water turbulence or jumping in and out of the pool, the shoes fall off. The band just does not get tight enough around the ankle to stay on with any type of pressure. Sand also got in easily at the ankle. So these were good to walk to/from and in the beach or hot sidewalk, but had to take off when entering the water if we didn’t want to loose in the ocean or running in the sand.
